Any diagnosed germophobes or hoarders on this forum?

I am doing well thanks - thankfully. Much better than at any point since last July at least. Up early and with some energy, it's amazing. My hands aren't too bad but my arms and legs are still bad. Legs don't matter so much, but the arms do, as too many band-aids at work stands out! The CEO's wife noticed last week 😞

I'm having lunch with friends today, still outside as I'm uncomfortable with inside. They are so lovely that they will be sure to hug and kiss me at meeting and leaving, and I haven't the heart to say I'm uncomfortable with that during Covid. I feel like an utter miser, so try to just welcome it even though it's uncomfortable. The germophobia makes me 'ungenerous', which I don't like, but it's a strong part of my illness. Maybe, on the flip side, it also helps to stop me offering too many things to to many people and getting overwhelmed and resentful?

Thank you for leaving me gifts when you feel so depleted, that's your beautiful nature showing through ❤️

I've been absent for a couple of days as we've had a death in the family, my uncle. It was sudden and unexpected, and there's a lot to do supporting my family. I can't catch up with you all yet, but I hope you are coping OK.

Thank you, dear friend, how lovely to get your message just then in my email notifications. I did sign in to the forums this morning, but then my brother rang to talk about my Mum and how she's coping, and then the rest of the day was lost in busy-ness. I hadn't fully appreciated how much there is to do when a death in the family happens, so my heart goes out to you @Anastasia , somewhat belatedly.

My uncle is with the coroner as we don't know the cause of death. So the funeral will be delayed.

Please tell me if this is triggering for you 💔 and I won't mention it again.

I agree so much to do, all of which you don't realise until you're thrown into having to do it. I feel for you. I'm sorry you're having to learn first hand what's involved.

It's like a club that you enter into, one that you don't want to be a part of, that's how I feel about it. We put some of Dad's ashes into little earns today, it's knocked me around. Just in bed, in the dark want to sleep but brain won't stop.

My business plans are moving along slowly due to lack of time whilst still employed but it will happen. Waiting on hearing back from business I approached to see if we could work together, really need them to come to the party 🙏
