I was offline yesterday as it was a bad day. But Thursday was a good day and I went to work. It did me lots of good.

The back pain is still bad. But your wishes have worked and it will be mostly sunny today and 22!

When are your and your boy's second Covid vaccines?

How did Friday go - I hope not too stressful with work and planning for your surgery...

Had a little look but didn't see any news from you. So am hoping things are going along OK. How is your boy - is he able to get out of bed? I'm hoping he feels much better by his birthday...

Our Covid shots are Wednesday. I'm a little nervous, not like I was but mostly pleased to then be fully vaccinated in time for hospital and just life really!

My boy has his depot on Tuesday and two new supports are now in place for him...it's been a BIG week but a very productive one all round. I am happy about where his supports are at. Now all I have to do is hope he comes to the party 🤞

Work has been intense. I do a few things no one else has access to or knows of/how to so I'm busy planning training and organising things so they don't run out in my absence. Unfortunately they've gone into panik mode and dug from the end of the Universe to think of needs. I have to just prioritise what is urgent and what can wait.

My boys been low, very low. It's been difficult. He did however get out of bed yesterday, yay 😃

My bf bought us bikes yesterday because we are allowed to exercise for more than an hour and we live near a beautiful park. So the three of us plan on a nice bike ride today. Again, hoping my boy comes to the party.

I think his Birthday will give him a lift 🤞 I will have to venture to the shops for the food over the weekend and I must admit I'm not comfortable at all about it. I can't remember the last time I went to Coles. I've been doing online shopping for months. My biggest fear right now is that Covid will get in the way of surgery. I know that's irrational given that we have dodged it to date but I can't help it knowing that I need the surgery. I now have tooth pain along with he headaches so it's not something I can just forget about, it's constantly in my face, literally lol! But not lol, lol!

Oh gosh think I'm already going crazy 😳

Gosh - not tooth pain as well as headaches! 😞 ...will be sending wishes that they ease, and also that Covid doesn't get in the way of your surgery, especially with the trip to the supermarket this weekend.

Oh gosh, depot here again...Tuesday...I hope it doesn't knock him around like last time. Glad he was able to get up yesterday...hope he feels up to going for the bike ride today.

Yes, reading, a walk (already had) and some rest for me. Am going to pop out shortly for some rolls to put the fresh salad in. Then home for the rest of the weekend. I desperately need to do some tidying, so will be going very slowly with the painful bending over...there's narrow pathways between shopping bags in my lounge-room and kitchen which have become potentially hazardous. Contact tracing here is apparently running about a week behind, so I've started keeping a list of where I go and when. There are cases in my area now and in my work area too, so I have to be cautious.

I have a confession - I didn't attempt to do much tidying /cleaning yesterday. My back was too sore. May I borrrow the cleaning fairy again today? Going to try again.

It's ok that you rested yesterday, you listened to your mind and body so well done. Of course you can borrow the fairy today, in fact think of her as a gift for as long as you need her she's yours 🧚‍♀️

I recall an inspection is soon so I hope knowing she's there to lighten the load helps. She told me she has healing energies so she might be able to take some pain away too 💚

Yesterday ended up being ok. My boy didn't get up for the bike ride but he did on return and the late afternoon and evening was really lovely. Being his birthday weekend we had a campfire and ordered chinese and had some lovely conversations.

I went to bed sore from bike ride but happy.

I also did some pruning yesterday out the back and filled the green bin so very happy with my efforts. Today will be a rest day mostly.

I've just cooked my boy pancakes outside in our new sitting area and had his company for the last hour. Lovely. He has his support worker shortly.

Yes I do worry about S&P. I think of him daily and just hold hope. I know being here helped but then what's the saying something about to see a change you have to make a change...maybe the absence is the change he needed?

Oooh, this sounds great, thank you 🙂 Strangely, my back is slightly improved today. Not assuming it's necessarily going to continue that way, but am a bit relieved. Does that mean I've spent the last 4 hours tidying? Errr...no. 😄 But this afternoon I will go slowly and do what I can. The inspection is actually overdue so I don't know what's happened there, but am thankful. Can't cope with it at the moment for a number of reasons.

Am relieved to hear your boy got up yesterday for campfire, Chinese food and conversations 🙂

I am hoping that S&P posts soon, to alleviate your worry.

Hi @Anastasia , just wanted to wish you well for your boy's depot today...sending wishes that it goes smoothly with no reaction, and your anxiety is manageable.

I'm not doing well, couldn't go to work yesterday or face anything. Signed in to the forums but realised I couldn't face them yesterday. Just got to get through by hook or crook till November...seems like a long time away. But I did want to message you today for your boy's depot, which is always a big stress for you, I know. 💚
