Awwww thank you for the coffee and thoughts @Maggie it is very kind. I always enjoy being here and appreciate you including me. It's back to work today sadly. I do love my job however I have to cover a colleagues role as well as do my own for the next two weeks. She treats me dreadfully, she's a passive aggressive and loud and belittles anyone when she can so I am not at all happy to be doing it. I am grateful to still have a job with covid so I can't rock the boat and just have to endure it.

Your vege patch sounds fabulous, fancy all of the pumpkin seeds taking. I do love roasted pumpkin. 🎃

Hello @NatureLover I love the sound of your garden, the rose is beautiful, what's a stunning colour. I have mostly natives. I'm gradually working my way through tending to the weeds and pruning but with the heat followed by rain it seems never ending.

I have laid mulch (kindly supplied by the beautiful paper bark trees) in three garden beds which has helped to keep the ones I have weeded at bay from further weeds.

Just talking about it makes me wish that was what I could be doing today instead of heading to the office 🤔

I'm a bit like you with everything having to have its place and yesterday in readiness to go back to work I put away some Christmas decorations as well as gifts. This led to a well overdue tidy up of my wardrobe. I now know where everything is and it is a good feeling. Lol I just have to remember now as my memory isn't what it used to be.

To live with pain is not good and when I have it worse than normal I do find heat packs help. I'm sorry Maggie it's a daily struggle for you 💜

I remember reading once that people who treat others badly are unhappy people. Sometimes this makes sense, and at other times I think that these people are just on a power kick.

Yes, the garden here brings me a lot of joy. Your native garden also sounds lovely.

I have found some lovely stones on a beach. I also have my rock hounds who deliver stones when they have been out.

The very round ones I make with a mould. That’s fun. I will be finishing a small heart today, hopefully 🤞🤞🤞

I guess the rain will keep you indoors today. I hope there are moments of clearing, so you can walk if you feel up to it.

My painting student didn’t come last week, so I think it will be on sometime this week. Any excuse to get some practice in.

My veg patches are only small, but it’s amazing how much you can fit in, give or take a pumpkin or two. 😂😂

Have you tried putting cardboard boxes under the mulch to keep the weeds down ? It works well in Tasmania.

I have some smooth stones /rocks nearby at the moment...they are a spillover from someone's garden project. They're littering the public path where I walk. They make me think of you. I wish I could collect them for you.

A mould sounds good too, as I imagine it would be hard to find enough stones to satisfy your creativity. Does the mould make heart shaped stones as well? I'd like to see the heart shaped stone that you might finish today. I hope your painting student comes this week.

Yes, I am a details person 🙂 I like being this most of the time, although it can get me in trouble sometimes. For instance, my boss values the fact that I catch errors in the paperwork at work...but not everyone at work appreciates this, obviously. Even though I make light of it and don't point the finger at anyone.

Thanks...I'm actually back at work today, so yes, I'll be inside. I was awake half the night worrying about it, even with my strong sleeping tablet. I'm hoping that the lady who is bullying me is away...she always goes away in January, although with Covid border closures etc. I'm not sure about this year. I will try for a quick walk this morning shortly...hoping to miss the rain.
