Numb again

I have tried contacting online support but everything is unavailable or offline .

I was raped 7 years ago and things happen so I made myself numb and supprised everything. I learned about the breathing techniques as well as the 5,4,3,2,1 tool. Tonight it's not working . I am having flash backs like crazy and I can't get my mind and body to calm down to relax and sleep . At this stage I am in for a night of night terrors and I can't do that again tonight. I am shutting down again but not sure how to stop it .

Im ok. Still abit cloudy but that is to be expected they say.

Shrink came to my house this morning to talk to me about what happened so I am all puffy-eyed at the moment.

I'm ok. still at the same level of anxiety. I can't seem to shake it at the moment.

Honey it's gonna take sometime to regulate everything again. You have been through a lot. Just take it slow, take it easy and be kind to yourself. Remember one step at a time. If sleeping all day is what you need right now then there is nothing wrong with that. As long as you are looking after yourself and staying safe my friend.
