Daily positives

Daily positives

Hi everyone, will so much happening atm i think nows a good time to try to find some positives in the day. i know how extremely challanging this might be on some days but even if its something as simple as reading a chapter of your favourite book, doing a study session, making a cup of tea and sitting outside, painting your nails, washing your car or whatever might come to mind. it really doesnt have to be big.

i would encourage everyone to just pop in here and write each day something/s good that has happened for you in the day!

Never done a salvage project like this before. Owned by the property’s first caretaker, built by his son in the 1960s. This workbench is made from rough cut Jarrah sleepers.

When I arrived here it was sitting in filth and full of Black mould. Had no wheels and had been pushed aside.

In 10 weeks I salvaged the original timber. Killed the mould and planed the top boards.
Two of the top boards were completely rotted and will be replaced with newer salvaged Jarrah.

I hand chiseled the recesses for the wheel plates

Here she stands, Old Mate’s workbench almost finished.
Yes they are horse saddles in the back ground.
