Challenge of the day!

Challenge of the day!

I'm starting a thread for a challenge of the day during these uncertain times. It's just a way for us to connect with each other and take our thoughts away from what is happening around us. It's kind of a (dare I say) mindfulness and grounding activity for each day. I hope it's a bit of fun for some of them and a way to ground and be aware of what is still around us.

The idea is for members to post whatever they feel comfortable with. It could be photos, photos of drawings, written descriptions or creative writing and poetry. It could be music as well. The key part is to keep in mind your anonymity at all times. Please don't post anything that would identify you. For that reason I'm trying to think of challenges that are personal but keep us anonymous.

Lastly I know I'll run out of ideas. Please feel free to add your own challenges here as well.

Re: Challenge of the day

Hi @Mazarita , someone is cooking something amazing here that cannot recognise smell of.
I used to have motorbikes long time ago owned a 750 and couple 500s . Enjoyed it at the time. Still wonder sometimes but its a luxury. Was video series in Footsteps of Hannibal think . Not a fan of host but amazing scenery, people. He crossed the Carpathians. Ok horseback. Most beautiful women ever saw . Think was georgia. Anyhoo. Sorry if thats sexist or watever,

Re: Challenge of the day

Yep @Mazarita I started late 17 yo, got licence and rode til just before 21 when sold bike for travel oseas. Have not ridden since but joke about being a wild child. It will prob be a disabled scooter next lol

For me they were basic transport, cheaper than car and I had friends who helped, me learn to ride and fix the bikes. No flashy cruisers, farings etc

Re: Challenge of the day

@Mazarita Apparently it is ok in some states in NSW apparently some people have been pulled over I think it's only been warning so far but you are aloud to ride to work

Re: Challenge of the day

@TAB I don't mind men finding women beautiful. Cool that you rode bikes too.

@Appleblossom funny contrast between the bike and the scooter. I used to love dancing at gay clubs and raves for years, it was the best exercise I got then. Now a sway is about the best I can muster with my dodgy feet and etcetera.

@Ant7 lockdown must be a bit tighter in NSW, understandably, though I can't see the harm of getting out of cities to unpopulated nature places. I guess it's too hard to police what people are doing if we are not all in our own places. Where I am there's been no reports yet of community transmission. The mayor is considering shutting down the beaches though as some people are still gathering too much, some beaches getting too crowded. But most people are staying very wide of each other when I've been to the beach in this quieter suburb.

Re: Challenge of the day

Hey @TAB good that you got out for a walk at least. Just my 2 bob's worth, the less you can go to the shop the less risk you are taking.

Re: Challenge of the day

well I had been good with shops but takes more planning than Ive been doing to go like once a week or whatever, see how I go @eth I had been thinking to myself everyones going to get it anyway, but always better to get it as a vaccine once they find one I guess

Re: Challenge of the day

Oh @TAB sorry to hear that's what you've been thinking. Please do try not to catch it - it's not inevitable in my opinion. I care about you and don't want you to have to suffer it.
