@Former-Member I echo what @Former-Member @Eden1919 and @BlueBay have said here. In fact I found it quite offensive that you stated you did not have support when for the first 2 days you were on here I conversed with you, tagged you into threads and replied to all threads and all posts you tagged me in. In fact I went out of my way to not only include you but answer all your posts (and all new threads you started) until you no longer replied to me. The statements you made 'I can't seem to find any support on here' and 'I don't find these forums helpful, no one wants to talk to me or nothing' made me feel like I personally did not matter after providing you with so much support. I also noticed many others including you yet replies were not forthcoming.
I also ask what it is you want out of the forum? It seems that you are wanting more than online communication can provide. Online communication is not always immediate and in real time - that is the nature of online forums - and if that is what you need then maybe we cannot provide tht here for you.
I am very aware that you do not have many offline supports and also that you are still trying to work out a lot in your life but it is also a two-way street here. We give and we accept support and are also very aware that each off us have our own 'issues', experiences and battles to face. This is a peer to peer support forum and as such we support each other from a personal level with what we know and have learnt in our own journeys - we are not counsellors but peers that have our own mental health issues. Many of us have developed strong connections to each other over time ...and that is important - it has taken time ...and a lot of mutual support.
It is entirely up to you whether you stay or leave but know that within this community we look after each other, support each other and pick each other up when it is needed ...and we share the load - sometimes some more than others and sometimes when we just can - and amongst that we are all dealing with our own mental health. Maybe the question you should ask yourself is not just what you want out of the forum but what you need to move forward yourself - and where the forum sits within that.
