I want to share some good news with you all.

this afternoon I received a text message from the manager of the bakery dept at my local supermarket.
I went in snd spoke to the manager. She has offered me two days a week 9-3pm and sat morning 8-12noon. Casual rates fir about 6 weeks then permanent part time. She knows my younger son who works there as duty manager.
I'm excited, nervous but ok.

Thankyou everyone for your support kind words and being with me in my time of stress.

On Tuesday the other lady who was made redundant and I had a coffee talking about what jobs we could do. We both said we wouldn't do pharmacy anymore.
the next day I was offered a job.
yesterdsy morning I text my friend to say I got a job.
She went to the same supermarket and had to order some bread from the manager. She mentioned to the boss thst I had got a job. She explained thst we both made redundant at Xmas time. The next thing the boss says to her "you don't want a job do you"? My friend said yes. So she has a job in same section as me.
how funny is thst. When she told me I couldn't believe it.
things do work out in the end.
