Re: GRATITUDE

@ENKELI 🤗 my Retiisi. I’ll be heartbroken if you stalk anyone but me 😆

Hi 👋🏼 @AlwaysMyself you’re very safe with occasionally sideways friend.

@ENKELI is one of the few people that I trust, yet we have near met.

Re: GRATITUDE

Oohh, you're over in Perth @ENKELI , I want to visit Perth (and WA generally) sometime, its the only state I haven't been to.

I dont say specifically which city/town im in because its too small round here I find lol (if i could PM select people like yourself I would narrow down the region a little more, but alas). But I'm in eastern Aus (Syd/Melbourne timezone, not Qld). Inland though - no chance of a tsunami affecting me. 😂

I love reading/seeing your friendship @ENKELI and @Glisten on a few posts ive seen around the place. 😊🥰

Re: GRATITUDE

@AlwaysMyself all good lovely. East coast is perfect 🙂 I have 2 sisters and my dad who live in NSW. I have been to all but 2 states in Aus and one day hope to get to both the NT and Tassie.

And I am so relieved you are safe from tsunamis!

Yes, @Glisten and I started a friendship and I value her more than I do some "friends" I have in real life. I wouldn't dare dream of stalking anyone else. I am teaching her Finnish one word at a time. I am not Finnish but when I was younger I wanted to learn a language and when people ask why Finnish? I say because it's there.

Hyvää päivää 🙂
(Have a good day)

Re: GRATITUDE

@Glisten you know I would never stalk anyone but you. I have been dispatching Mr MM out to the 'Bully and he's been bringing back information for me. Unfortunately I don't speak Meowinese and he doesn't speak Finnish but I did pick up the word Godiva - not sure whether he was referring to you riding down the main street or a box of chocolates. The chocolates would make more sense, it's much too cold to be riding nekkid!!

You have more in common with the chocs -

Re: GRATITUDE

@ENKELI award for the best laugh of the day 🤣🤣🤣 for Godiva cat language post lol.

A relative if mine did some university in Finland (free!) So they learned some basic social Finnish. I hear its one of the hardest languages. And its very unique! Some similar language group cousin is apparently Hungarian?!

Re: GRATITUDE

@ENKELI speaking of Finnish 🇫🇮 I’ve been looking at Horse Riding holidays.

I started with the idea of a Norwegian 🇳🇴 Horse Riding holiday.
But then I thought 💭 who else likes sauna, horses 🤔😁

Re: GRATITUDE

@AlwaysMyself I did not know that Finnish is a hard language to learn. Hungarian would be interesting too. I think that having limited options at school regarding languages swayed me as well. I didn't ever see myself going to France or Italy so why bother learning the language?!

Yes, my cat Mal aka Mr MM (Murder Mittens) has been a topic of conversation between G (@Glisten) and I for some time. Currently we are trying to train him to pull a little cart so he can deliver muffins to G. Unfortunately he's a stubborn beasty and refuses to put his harness on.

He's developed a terrible addiction to Kitty Krack - Temptations cat treats) that I fear he may need a stint in rehab.

I'm worried though. Each time I suggest to him that he may have a problem he starts a dreadful rendition of Amy Winehouse....no no no.

Re: GRATITUDE

@Glisten do we know anyone who would be able to sneak into a nursing home and hasten the demise of the sp*rm donor formerly known as my father?

If so, you and I are going to Finland to ride horses in the snow. We can come home via Canada too I reckon.

Saunas, Northern Lights, reindeer, saunas....I'm dreaming of a white Christmas 😅🤣

Re: GRATITUDE

@ENKELI I am flummoxed by the old man’s reaction toward you.

Do you think that he has the dementias?

Canaidia the other Australia 🛫

Re: GRATITUDE

@Glisten that places looks wonderful! 😍 I love European winter. MM might stow away in @ENKELI suitcase, and I'll stow away in yours for the trip! 🤣

I would like to do a multi-day dog sled trip, but if there are hills you need to be fit enough to semi-run up them yourself 😬, so I need to find a flat one that has enough dogs to cater for above-average sized peoples.

I've done a 15min dog sled many many years back. That was fun. 🙂 in a snowy forest.

Horse riding would also be fun 🙂 ive done that twice in Aus and enjoyed it. Even if it hurt the next day lol.

@ENKELI poor MM. Addiction is hard i hear. One of my dogs is addicted to pats, he suffers greatly while I type on my phone with both hands.

I have often learned a little of the language when I travel to new countries - if I have the time to. Just enough for being polite or to travel easier ("where is the bus? Where is the toilet?" And of course food items!). I find it interesting the amount of overlap between different languages (esp European) when you know 1 and hear very similar words with same meaning in another language because they have ancestors.
