I'm grateful for my job. So many are not so lucky. I'm trying to focus hard on what I have, rather than what I don't.

I am working on current Values & Goals.

A current Goal (purpose) is to reduce & limit daily time spent using my computer (including Mobile phone) – as that is a huge time-waster, & energy drain.

Computer internet time also tends to increase feelings of isolation & frustration – not abate or reduce alienation.

With that in mind, my “Positive Re-frame for Annual Leave” (time-off Work) –

Being Burnt-out, not having had time off since 2017 (except in hospital/ surgery).

Is to see it as a time for “Renewal”
“Self-Care”
“Meditation”
“Relaxation” & enjoyment.
“Connecting & engaging with people” (when available) in person.
Regardless of ability to “Go Places” or “Do particular stuff”.

Today, I am feeling grateful for a cold, cloudy day where I can curl up with some blankets and have a nice cup of coffee. Small things, but things that make me feel less uncomfortable than usual. I am grateful that I had the spoons to get some washing done and a little bit of study too. @Shaz51 - another lovely thread on this forum 🙂

@Isabelle, yes to think of the little things like sitting on the couch watching the tv shows i tapped during the week

It is - certainly one of my favourite pick me ups is coffee and blankets.

That sounds nice! 🙂 What sort of shows do you like?

I am very fortunate to live in a semi rural area so I am surrounded by big gum trees and many other native plants, that's my garden. 🙂 No fur babies, but one feathered baby! You?
