@Briar wrote:Hi @Former-Member, @Decadian, @Former-Member,
Thanks for checking in on me. Things are confusing and strange at the moment. I'm losing track of time quite a lot, I think.
Injury B seems much the same as before, which is a good thing - at least it hasn't gotten worse. I had another discussion with GP about going to hospital. We disagree about what's best but he won't force me to go.
Take care of yourselves
Still thinking of you - too much happened on the weekend for me. Good to see you are ok.

Keeping track of time is hard for me too. @Former-Member I had clocks in every room and wore wrist watches to try and keep on track of it. I copied the therapists and had a clock that I could see from my teaching chair so that I could properly time manage teaching periods and hung a watch on the conducting stand and frequently use a metronome. But it has never been my strong suite. In a way I am lucky as now my life is still viable and I no longer need to be concerned about split seconnd timing.
For 15 years I have lived chained to my little to do and reminder notes on the kitchen bench.
I am not making small of your struggle atm just trying to reach you with some care and understanding. I have come back from extremely dissociated states .. yes there are impairments, but your life is worthwhile to your child and I hope you find a way to make it worth while to you. Thats the best way to be worthwhile to anybody. 'Daddy as money tree' has long been proved unsatisfactory and unsustainable.
Thinking of you

Hello @Former-Member I simled a wan smile when I thought about how supplyiing food as a mum was the centre of my life for 20 years ... and I so wished to free of the pressure of another meal ...when my son went to live with his dad ... I could go a few days without feeding myself .. I live in my head so not sure about hunger til I get ravenous.
Sorry all the different bits of you are feeling apprehensive about a plane trip to 'the olds'. It makes sense that it is triggering. Are there any plans you can make to make it more bearble ... have you journalled about possibiltiies. ... knowing me I would forget so if I put it in a book and take it along ... I might remember to look at it at the key moments ...
