In my opinion the only honest answer is the truth. This will probably mean fessing up to things that you'd rather keep to yourself.
Think of it this way: by blurting it all out you're helping yourself by allowing others to help you. They can only do so if they know the whole story. I understand just how hard this is. It took me quite some years to understand that I was only hurting myself more by holding back information from my treating professionals. In a way I was wasting my money and their time.
Even if you choose not to act on what I've written please take the time to think about it.
Hugs

Hmm...... I know all about treatment orders.
On obviously you're not in a position to give details but it might be pertinent to think about what the long term consequences of not having injury B treated.
As frightening as it is for you I'd biting the bullet and getting both done at once. Sometimes the hardest decision to make is the easiest one to do.
Thinking of you and wishing you the best of luck.

I am so glad you are getting relief from posting and being heard.... AND .. that the surgery worked out for you.

Kurra had the right idea.

I had a similar situation where I didnt reveal how suicidal I was ... not because I was secretive .. but because like you .. I had experienced close family members expressing it a lot .. and I was trying to manage it and protect people from my extremes .. but I wasnt really managing .. but had no idea what was obvious to others and what was not. It took about 15 years of strong SH and suicidal ideation before I could actually express it properly as part of me .. a bit late to prevent permanent damage .. but not too late to keep me alive and gain some sense of dignity.

Take care ... I am thinking of you ...

Its so freeing to hear others talk about suicidal ideology without the usual fear, drama or stigma. Wish i knew about sane forums when i needed it most, but the healing it brings now is great. Really appreciate the open honesty here.
