Sleeping too much

@TAB rules of inclusivity and care and compassion towards others, as that thread suggests, is what these Forums are about, not what you suggested - that people leave and go elsewhere to their own threads. I have had hayfever or something - I think hayfever - I haven't taken antihistmines for months but it's time to start again - which is why I read your post but didn't anwer

That was about how little medicare helps you in your position - and I understand that - and not everyone will - you are not in a position to say you can't afford it - you just don't have the money - I understands that

And to go to a consultation 50 km away - aw - that is so far - on a good day not bad - but on a toughie - not really good to drive so far

But I seem to be sitting in my lounge with the TV on - gotta change the channel - gotta get dressed - what do I say but I get it

It is really hard for people living in more remote areas - I have this love of the infrastructure - it's a good thing for those of us who need the "Big Smoke" and what it has to offer - you know - supply and demand - how many people out past the black stump need a psychologist - how many psychologists want to work where they might have a limited number of clients?

Thinking of you Tawnz - I never stopped - I really dig it - been there - was totally dependent on the pension - and the people at Life-Line told me about the medicare thing but alas - like you I could not pay for it -

I can now and know it worked - and I don't need to right now - but I might in the winter

I get it @Former-Member - when you are feeling shell-shocked if you write what you really feel like you might get red-lighted - that happens to me often and when I am not feeling at all like using words in that sense

I said I felt like I baptized you because I started calling you Tawnz a while back - ah - I dunno - I just felt as if it would sound friendly - you know - make the name shorter and add a s or a z - - anyway - I'm glad you chose it - I like it

I din't know you were part Phillapina - that's interesting - I knew a girl from the Phillipines years ago - she lived in the same block of flats that I did - her life was not an easy one - but then she did not have good English and that would be isolating

I saw on TV that we have three seperate selves - our public self - our private self and our secret self - I thought about that and I know I have a secret self I don't share with people much at all - I read a lot and have exotic ideas - our secret self might be okay but it is not something we want to share and this is something we are all entitled to.

Yes - I do feel as if I know you - well - I don't know - but I have been swapping posts with you for a year - and people share a lot of their private lives in here - we tell each other things we would not be likely to share with the people we meet in the street
