Re: Sleeping too much

Hi @Former-Member

Thanks for your support and kind thoughts about my son - yes - it is a terrible place in my memories but I guess such trauma always will be

My son was always a troubled child - something went amiss - as he was adopted we have no idea what went wrong before he was born - but still - I loved him and I have some fantastic memories about this funny little boy who was often so sad it broke my heart often

Sometimes I think I over-invested myself in him - because there was only one ending to this story - but we cannot love someone too much - and the more unloveable a person is the more love they need

It's really hard to believe how many years have passed since he died - 31 years - and next year he will be gone for twice his life-time - something I just thought about then

Yesterday was okay - I was very busy and the weather in Melbourne turned cold - Thursday night I sat in my chair and watched TV and didn't bother to even get up to turn the TV off - I just kept on watching a different programme and a different movie until really late

Thanks again -

Dec

Re: Sleeping too much

Hi @Former-Member yes stuck on slippery slope maybe..
was going over pedestrian rail over pass that seemed to get narrower and steeper and a physical struggle to climb and fear. There was a point just after starting where I realised there was a simple easy way, but kept going and it kept getting harder. After got over the worst of it, on way down and close to ground, the stairs rotated like a conveyor maybe and got off not quite where I expected but I made it.
Gotta love kids lol .. pics might be a good idea, are you taking them? Hope they behave then 😀

Re: Sleeping too much

May sound funny @Former-Member, but my mind still toys with similar ideas, like politics and getting back the $30k centrelink conned out of me under old student loan scheme.. one day maybe.. Catch me if you Can was on tv last night, few ideas in there maybe jk lol
Oh, the stairs thing was a Dream...
Hope your are okay today 😀

Re: Sleeping too much

Glad ya picking up TAB, do you have ha 30k hecs bill, hard wh n they take so much money when ya think ya in front for a change. This happened to me a few years back, they took 2k off one tax return because my hubby underestimated his income (which I was not allowed to know, well I underguessed cause he'd never answer ? reoney), very annoying, made me wonder why by I bother working. My son is paying off 60k hecs bill, at least he graduated.
My shift went well, 315 takes for 3hrs, and had to work with the boss (few wirkers flooded in etc) but she was pretty good, brings hr cute dog with her. actually about to have lunch with her, hmm, some visiting 'rock & roll thing. Thanks for german spelling on, studied a not in highschool, forgot spelling, well, m English spelling is crap sometimes as you know, thank you lol, well, better forget back ache and get on xox

Re: Sleeping too much

..no not HECS, paid that off years ago, it was the old Student Supplement Loan scheme, had to forgo $100 from centrelink to if borrowed money from them to get $200, it was a total rip, but an easy way to be able to live at the time. Think owed nearly 50 grand at one stage, its nearly paid off now, its just that to get the loan, you had to give up money that you were actually entitled to. It was a win for everyone except the person who took out the loan. Centrelink saved $100 a week, Tax Office inhertited impossible to get out of loan that gets taken out at tax time.

Effectively it means that a person who took the loan out had to repay payments that they were entitled to, as part of total amount borrowed Anyway sis who worked for centrelink told me not to do it as was total rip, but why starve? not conducive to study ..anyhoo .. @Former-Member

Re: Sleeping too much

Hi @TAB, @Former-Member..
gosh sounds like you feel you are not keeping up with it all Tab.
I've had similar themed dreams, whereby everything is 'going' 'going', just a lot of thought activity happening. Dream jumbled up our unconscious, unprocessed thoughts.
I've had weird dreams, I don't even know where they come from.
I'm not keeping up too well with posts. I have to re-read a lot of late when I do catch up.
For most part I feel branched off.
I think I need better sleep tonight.
A good movie in silence, glass of wine feeling peaceful would be ideal but probably ain't going to happen.
I'm a bit overwhelmed.
I sometimes feel I'll end up in hospital when I wake and feel I'm not keeping up with life.
It's a bit like fast forward button keeps getting pushed and I miss a chunk of living, and am like that mouse on courosel that goes round and round!! Lol
Now we all know that's bloody ridiculous!! 😂
@Former-Member, I hope your trip to shops was pleasant.
Sometimes I loathe the shops!! Lol
Why can't we have a bottomless bank account?!!😏
Well back to chores I guess.
Oh Tab..yep I do get the odd pic or two, but I realise before you know time, years have got away.
I must be becoming wiser or old!!!

Just mowed 2ft high back lawn been staring at last 2mths, 90 min cardio workout..had to have a break ..phew.. not doing that again me mr regular lawn guy become ..
..have mini breaks in your mind maybe? Or strategies w kids.. or cider while walk to park with pram? ..branching out can be good no need to read posts, apart from small victories not much changes here, well there is support, but that can be a bandaid and isolating in itself

Re: Sleeping too much

Thanks @TAB.
Ha, ha lawnmower man! Cool. Definate workout. I had to mow recently, as partner had done his back. I'm with you on that, not a fan!! Lol.
A couple of friends have since stepped in on that one.
Well I brought some new make up for recent wedding. Thanks to little man now ruined. I was so mad. A stacking effect of kids being full on. I calmed down with a sprinkle cup cake! My new hook. Sweets when I feel :pile_of_poo:..I even sneaked parsley in them, kids loved them! Lol. Well predominantly sugar and butter otherwise!! Agree good to check in, when all else seems hopeless. I didn't go to psychiatric appointment. I think I don't need it. I'm not label anything.

Re: Sleeping too much

Hmm pity re makeup 💄.. at least there's no malice? And hopefully they didn't ingest too much.. yeah lawn notso bad if regular just kept making up reasons not to do it. Yes had a couple of labels in past, change of doctors fixes that they just deny any conditions cos think trying to get on pension all very boring.. guess told self was avoiding neighbors as theme for not mowing lawn
