Thanks @Former-Member
I could have stayed in bed all day - gratefully - but alas I live alone and things need to happen around here
I slept for such a long time last night - ah - bliss - that could have lasted a bit longer but it doesn't - does it
But I shall survive - }i{

Oh yes - I made a big pot of soup on Sunday - which I ate some of on Sunday and yesterday and will probably finish off today

Re: Sleeping too much
@Faith-and-Hope, did D3 & worries stay away enough for you to get some sleep last night?
I can always tell when I'm getting low on magnesium because me legs are restless at night & I don't sleep much. Epsem salts is a good source of mag but I like Ethical Nutrients products. // Was thinking of your WH & the possible similarities my Brisbane friend has with her hubby. Wondering now if he has an ED, He's obsessive about exercise, and has a whole pantry shelf of suppliments, religious about taking them. Extremely fit for a 60yo, goes on 20mile bike rides, jogging, use to be a triathlete, when he did his Akilies Tendon & was bed ridden he got so depressed. He travels too. Has orders his suppliments from the US (i-Herb). My Fr-JR just see's it as him, but then again she's a very private quiet person. Her Hubby's the talker in that house - good humour too. Kind of a walking encyclopedia too.. Kind of believe ya not living if you don't do these things. Friend JR is similar with food, has semlnsitive stomach, only does organic & no junk food, and her house is spotless. But not sure of the family dynamics, controlling or possible emotional / psychological abuse, these things are so behind closed doors. But they seem happy. It must be sad for you to have that tension in the air.
Hey, love the little butterfly }I{ Gets me down that a can't afford the best gadgets etc but these little tips make a difference.
Hi @Former-Member, how's your busy week going? do you have to go out every day? Was psych good this week.
@Decadian, feeling beletter today? Glad you're sleeping good & getting into suloup. Put lots of herbs in tumeric, splash black pepper, pasley etc. Hard to look after yaself properly when ya sick, soup is fairly easy and pasts days. Take it easy.

Re: Sleeping too much
D3 did sleep okay last night ... but I woke in the early hours for different reasons. D1 and fiancé and not okay, and it's a few weeks till the wedding. My brain seems to wake me in the early hours when there's something I need to nut out, but there's too much happening during the day to be able to mull it over and work out the way forward ....
Going to catch up with D1 and fiance's parents this afternoon while WH is away, and go through a few things at a family level, hopefully gain enough clarity for the kids to work themselves out from there ....
Your friend's husband may be in the area of "exercise anorexia" - but an eating disorder, like most other disorders, are on a spectrum. It's really for the two of the to work out, but mindfulness and awareness about these things and the potential hazards are good. If she does reach out to you, it's their family doctor who ought to be their first port of call ....
Having mushroom soup for lunch with roquette salad ....

Hi @Former-Member and @Faith-and-Hope
It would drive me crackers if people said something like "You're not living unless you live the way I do" or something similar - it must be a nightmare to have people pushing their way of living onto you - ah - squeak - I have ideas too - but people live the way they do and if they believe it works for them - then that's good
But yes - I am a big believer in soup - I don't know why but often chicken noodle soup seems to work - what is it about chicken soup? - I am not even sure there is chicken in chicken noodle soup but it seems to pick me up
The soup I made on Sunday was heavy on the side of the carrots - I got one of those soup packets of vegetables and added lots of celery - and swedes - and all sorts of extras - and I take supplements and yes - I slept for a long time last night - I could have gone on sleeping - I was enjoying myself so much
I don't remember if I was dreaming - and it makes me wonder why we enjoy something when we are unconcsious - but I certainly felt better this morning -
So I might take things easy for the rest of today - the weather is not as cold but it is windy and if I have had an allergy - strong believer in the misery of allergies - let's recover first
But for anyone else with different versions of the Dreaded Lurgie - I have you all get some good sleep and recover

Re: Sleeping too much
Looking for company for morning tea.
Having Raison Toast & black tea, yum.
Everyone OK?
Have a psych apt 2pm today, would be good to talk about how it went for a change, maybe here?
My son tx me finally, late last night, didn't acknowledged my messages, just said he's tired, busy & asked how I was. Holding off on reply for a day. Hate nutshell things into a tx, rather a call. Hear his voice... ...
