Re: Sleeping too much

Hi @Former-Member

That cost of seeing a psychiatrist is prohibitive - one would imagine that if they charge that much then they might lack a source of income - but perhaps not - people with some money can afford those costs

But what about the people on low incomes - to me it would seem that it would be more necessary to have some psychiatric help - esp if you are taking medication - and a half-hour to discuss a dose change seems ridiculous

But there is a Medicare cap on what you have to pay over a year - and I see my GP twice a week - at first this was hard to pay - but became easier very quickly - but people need to have enough to cover these costs to start off with - and even the Medicare rebate for seeing a psychologist is still too hard for most people

Which means that the people needing it the most can't pay

However - having run out of ideas - I checked your post again - it seems you are seeing someone out near the Rabbit Proof Fence - coming into the city would be something that would cause you anxiety -

Aw - that all stinks - and I don't know what to suggest - if you need medication then it is something that could be cleared by the Health Department so your GP could prescribe

I hope something works out for you

Re: Sleeping too much

Hi and thanks for your message @Decadian

I'm so fed up with seeing GPs etcetera, I need a break from it all.

I need a lump checked, but I just can't bring myself to get to the doctor. I'm not too worried about it, but I do need an ultrasound.

How is your day going?

Nice and sunny here, not too hot, not too cold.

I've been extra tired today, have to push myself to do everything. My daughter is home from school and just made Churros with sugar and cinnamon (wholemeal flour and cooked in olive oil to make it healthier) and she just brought me a nice strong coffee.

I'll help her with assignments soon. Keeps my braining working.

Sounds good @TAB Sorting and throwing out things. I do that often, I hate clutter.

Re: Sleeping too much

Hi to everyone.

How is everyone going today?

My day has been very slow. Just having coffee and Churros, made by my daughter, very yummy.

Re: Sleeping too much

Yes, I slept all day, was up all night, couldn't switch off, so slept the day away, under 2doona, with my dog, where its warm. Only not long had food so I could take pills. Had a bad dream I was scheduled, locked up, medicates, but also an escape adventure flying etc. Must be the pain killers re yesterdays shocker of a headache.
Not your fault but it hurts to hear your love for your daughter shine through, and the parts of her beautiful nature toward you and the two ofvyou together. Torture actually, but its not your fault, it is also wonderful, a marvelous gift from heaven.
