I understand all of that @TAB
But oddly - I remember the house I owned with my ex - and in spite of all the interesting things that have taken place re repairs and maintenance they do get done now - my ex and I could not see eye-to-eye on how to spend my money - so the sadness of our lives together were visible - and lately I went past the old house recently - it had been done up a couple of times but now looks even worse than when we sold it
But in rental accommodation most things eventually happen - sure - people stall - but I have taken care of the places I have rented and that gives a bit of energy into the deal - after all many tennants let the whole thing go - and why would the agents worry too much about that
But still - life as a tennant has one almighty huge benefit - we are free from the tryanny of real estate. When I finally sqwark dd only has to move my stuff out of here and I don't hoard - no house to be sold, so agents - nothing -
I hope the rain stops soon and your place stops leaking

It's only leaking in the one spot, under the verandah and not raining now 😀 But its where I sit a lot lol.

@Decadian. I too can talk on any subject. Verbal diarrhea I think it's called. Lol.
@TAB. It definitely sounds like the landlord does all the maintenance work in the unit. Lol. He probably thinks he's a real clever handyman.
@Former-Member. I hope your psychologist appointment goes well today. I generally feel better after a session. That doesn't mean that I don't cry and have things to work through - more that I can see what needs changing or what's working or how far I've come. I hope you have the same experience.

he told me as much on the phone last week @utopia said he used to do maintenance in a caravan park lol ..yes thinks he's handy lol

well he sounds ok on ph, says get stuff fixed and take it out of the rent .he's interstate tho and last tenant grumbled re him when I queried some of the doors etc, i dismissed it. see what happens @utopia

Its a house lol has front yard, double carport lounge kitchen laundry big master bedroom plus couple other rooms back verandah enclosed front porch can sit in back yards maybe 15m by 6 😀 Will get doors fixed😀
