Hi @PeppiPatty
I really did not want to end my marriage so separation was enough - but my ex was the kind of man who needed a wife - for a lot of reasons but having his shirts ironed was one of them
I didn't want to break the vows I had made before God - but because he was pretty helpless alone and very passive/aggressive with the whole thing I let go - and - ah my - that guy fell apart - he washed his clothes but he wasn't eating and he closed weren't ironed and hung off him and although he packed a lot of his stuff from the house he never unpacked the boxes - using them as tables - one to eat off - and he never even put a tea towel on one for a table cloth - and all the time I could hear him wimpering in my head - "Look at what you are making me be"
Weep weep
So - if he was around I would be fixing this and that for a passive/aggressive man who looked at his dinner as if it was poisoned and never told me if he liked something or not - he was lazy and morose and I went on with my life and the difference is now I get on with my life without him sitting on any chair including the one in the small room for hours with a book
So we lived together in the same house for a long time but not as man and wife until I finally made him go - and I wanted him to go - but all I really wanted was to rid myself of the dark cloud of depression which followed him around raining on him and him alone. Leunig has a comic strip of a man like that - must have known a man like my ex
So I was not my choice to break the vows - but it was mine to live a life without his dark miseries - something I have never understood about him and really could not accept
We all have our stories - what turns our attention inward to find our way out - I am waiting to learn - I just hope I have enough years

Re: Sleeping too much
Woke early to nightmare where I was trapped in a building that fell into the sea in an earthquake and drowned (where's @Leia, can you interpret that? missing you lately). After I woke I became aware of the high volume of my head cicata buzzing, so loud (love to know what that is).
Just found a stray dog howling at my front door just now, friendly fella, loves my dog, so l let him in and now my dog has to learn to be sociable - doesn't want to share at all (grumpy old thing). The owners will come looking 🙂

Hi @Former-Member xoxo
I'm not a dream expert, but your dream could mean that you are feeling trapped in life's circumstances and you feel like you are drowning from everything that's happening in your life.
Not sure if you saw my messages yesterday? I'm feeling really fragile today, just wondering. ![]()
