Re: Sleeping too much

@Faith-and-Hope, surprised WH even had you at apt, my hubby never let me in on Dr apts. Glad the eye is clear but get the frustration that another yet another Dr has missed the ED (sigh), and even encouraged it - viewed as 'healthy' - they can't see things from your view yet, guess it really does have to be WH presenting hself in need of help. Need a miracle really. Keep praying, be patient.

My Dr only had time to do the MH review (needed for wed) & I have to go back next week re gastroscopy req etc. Sigh. But went to pay and found she bulk billed me today - first time ever, and I didn't even ask (hmm, thank you God).

Wanna hear something stupid, my dog jumped on the lounge, trod on the dvd controls, and now the dvd won't work - tried everything, go figure, grr. No TV reception or dvds - how will I cope? Are, just realised, I can watch on lap top if desperate.

Thanks @Former-Member ...

It's sucky .... but I just gotta tough it out ....

Your DVD controller is sucky too ... glad you've got the laptop back-up.

The bulk-bill was great ... look at that .... a windfall .... just when you were talking about the medical expenses today .... yay 😊

Re: Sleeping too much

Just woke to an unpleasant nightmare about the x. His vindictiveness and dishonesty in the courts is almost unbearable. Adrenolin, heart palpitations etc Don't need this, not fair.

Re: Sleeping too much

Hi @Former-Member

I would imagine that is your sub-conscious working back over some :pile_of_poo: that hurt you ... that is actually insufferable ... but it's in the past so your mind is revisiting it to work out how to shake it off .... and shake it off you will .... just keep putting that stuff behind you.

The more you over-write the past with more positive events, the more there is to counter-weigh the negative. You've just added on a morning tea with S1, a mental image of him buying flowers for D1 and causi ting the cemetary unasked ... the neighbour's catch chasing butterflies ... your walks last week ... your widow friend visit .... keep adding on every day @Former-Member .... open the windows to good things in your life.

Hugs .... ❤💕

Re: Sleeping too much

@Former-Member it's normal to think of those things, it's just how much you let it affect you .. The past is the past. No one deserves to live 'rent free' in your head .. and why do their work for them? re unpleasant thoughts ..just sayin

Re: Sleeping too much

Thanks @Faith-and-Hope, think the image of his hipocracy in front of my son on the weekend and that vindictive letter playing on my mind. I am trying really hard to notice the good things, mame them happen, let them wash over me and through me, to overwrite the bad. Kinda feels Like 'madness' some days, to feel 'happy' but working on that, at letting it come, well maybe not so much happy but 'joy' served with an ocean of peace.
Thanks for the reminder my friend.

Re: Sleeping too much

Na, ya right @TAB, just takes me a min to get over nightmares and associated waves of anxiety. After seeing the lovely place the x is living in now (when I dropped my son off on the weekend), it doesn't seem fair I guess. Just trying to process that too I think. Shall go whash him out of me with a Chai Latte, he stole the best years of my life, not getting the rest. Ya right;

Re: Sleeping too much

ohh come on @Former-Member ..it's language too, re self talk as in 'stole the best years' ..'stuff happens' and maybe it happened for a reason. Can I have one too? never had one before ..no idea but yeah understand re haves and have nots and time passed ..it sorta works for me that sis doesn't talk anymore ..I'm facing working til death etc she's worth squillions and retiring at 2 years younger than me dragging old bod up stairs in dirty jobs working with retreads lol ..nah tis what it tis, my choices, my actions, her privileged advantage , shrugging my shoulders, thinking of Robert Louis Stevenson quote re you've got to deal with the hand you've been dealt ..I have no time machine to go back and change stuff ..
