@Appleblossom, I think maybe moving away from them, family, made it impossible to give or do my 'honest best' or 'enough' & the maj depression hasn't made me the most positive happy company (my TS never forgave me for having a breakdown in my 20's & always took the stand of 'attention seeking' even I hough I never once threatened to die. That's her, just in the process of saying goodbye to her, her birthday & all & not around. And my Bro3-4 off their face & M&D dying (all of them aggressive) - have to let it go.
@Faith-and-Hope, hope I haven't upset you re ya mum, I believe she watches over you and proud of you.
Oh poop, talking silly. Think its the myserable weather today too. Wish my beautiful son would reply to Tues tx, Didvi mention he's finally learning to drive - getting his license re better job offer across the city? He's powering along nicely. Finding his notch in the world. Think maybe, or maybe I'm kidding myself, but hanging on a few more years to see this has been worth it & hopefully not hindered it by passing early. Anyway, he's probably flat out with everything.
Just repaired my TV cabinet which was falling apart (& covered in horrible dust), one job finished, yay!

Yes our children do get busy , I have 4 step children and sometime I want to text them and say -- hey , remember to ring your dad sometimes , but I usually bite my mouth instead

Hi, Ms @Former-Member, with your 'care to splains' lol I am somewhat conversant in German, written and oral, and was well aware of the concept you speak of .. Think you will find in your dictionary, that 'Freude' und .. 'schadenfreude' mean somewhat different things ..
