Re: Sleeping too much
I had a surprise today, from mum, she's bought me a new washing machine, delivered tomorrow. Wow! Didn't get any say in model etc "beggers can't be choosers she says" but my old thing is 20yo & struggling so not gonna say no. If mother went about things better (not so bossy, controlling & rude), times like this would be wonderful moments together. Still a nice thing to do. Don't know where the money's coming from. She helps my unwell brothers a lot too.

What an amazing gift out if the blue ....
You see .... ? All your sweet care for your family has come back as a blessing to you .... yes ..... delivery attitude could be better .... but hey, some people just don't improve manners-wise ..... sometimes a change in behaviour is the best you're gonna get .....
Maybe soak your feet for a bit tonight in some nice smelling something in warm water and make it only a walk around the block tomorrow .... just try to walk every day, sometimes short, sometimes long .... mix it up as it suits you .....
❤💕

Hi @Appleblossom @Shaz51 @Shaz51 @Former-Member @TAB
You walk how many kms a day @Faith-and-Hope ?

Re: Sleeping too much
It varies a lot @PeppiPatty.
Sometimes it's just down to the local coffee shop and back. That's about 2kms I think.
Other days I walk up to 10km in a day, probably more than that when we're on holidays cos I like museums and art galleries, and walking around looking at things in the street. As long as I can have an occasional coffee, I can walk on and off all day like that .... 😊
Are you a "walker" @PeppiPatty ?

Re: Sleeping too much
No, I'm a scammer @Faith-and-Hope
When I first joined Sane forums, I started skipping and that was really cool then collapsed. I live right next to the beach but I am VERY busy......When Im not busy, When I have a bit of time off....I usually fall asleep from being on lots of medication. My husband is on more medication...I sort of like having a clean unit. but Every day, I take Arlo to the beach for a run and when I get home, I usually work at cleaning one house per day or every second day for either food, or a little bit of wages.
good on you for walking !!
Nighty night PP

Re: Sleeping too much
I'm back from my early morning walk, only 1/2 distance because I'm stiff & sore, especially below the waist. Dog came with me this time, funny how he knows what "WALK" means - yapped excitedly all over the place while I replaced my shoe laces & got ready (takes me 1/2hr to get out the door, e end without a shower), poor pup, so overcome with excitment.. Early in the day is good because no traffic means no doglead, he likes that. Even at 15yo he still runs back & forth & all over the place. Makes me smile. Pretty cheeky the way he teases the other dogs objecting to us passing by, he even pees on their fence, which i would think, in dog language is a major insult lol.
There's something about early mornings, the gentle sun in our eyes, the quiet, and super fresh air. My new walking buddy doesn't get up early, and can't today abyway, so its good to catch the sunrise out. Glad i woke early, naturally, & felt more energised - enough to walk because I'm stuck home now waiting for washing machine delivery. A new toy to play with, lol.
Oh, have to tell you, another blessings came my way already - on my walk this morning, the young man next door offered to mow my front lawn with his ride-on, when he does his, if I don't mind, how about that, wow! Of cause, I said "yes please!! & thank you!" and he doesn't even want petrol money, I'm in 'happy tears' just writing about it. There are nice people in the world.
Gosh I'm hungry for a change, another good sign - scrambled eggs today.
What's everyone else having?

Re: Sleeping too much
@Former-Member you sound so happy and positive this morning!!!! Fantastic
How about your neighbour, yes there are nice people around. I really do enjoy the early mornings, the birds singing and the sun starting to shine and yes the boost of early morning fresh air.
You are so good in doing your morning walks, good on you. And having your dog join you is even more better.
Have you got lots of washing to 'try the new machine out' !!! I remember being so excited when we got a new machine that i was looking for clothes to wash.
Just finished having cheese toast and a cup of tea. Better go and get myself ready for work, i start in 45 mins. Thank god it's just down the road (5 min drive) very lucky.
have a nice day @Former-Member chat tonight. xxoo
