Hi @Decadian, just popping by to wish you all the best for a difficult day, to help 'hold you strong' through your aunts funeral and with TS about. Glad you got clothes ready last night. You'll be OK. Do you have someone to walk in with, to sit with. Someone watch your back? I try organise this when I can, for me now, I find standing alone among toxic people the hardest part - but you might be stronger. Glad you have a Dr apt after.

I am having trouble getting started today - well - why not - is any funeral easy to go to -
No - I don't have anyone to go with - but I get along well with my father's family - everyone has their priorities - as long as I don't faint as I did after my mother's funeral - but this one will not be as charged
Of course - every funeral we go to we take the memories of the other people in our lives who have left before us - my mother was only last year - my son 30 years ago -
Maybe I will send a few notes before I ring a taxi to leave - I still have some time - the hardest part will be changing my earrings - I have a beautiful pair that belonged to my mother
Knowing all of you are here and that there is nearly always someone about means a lot- more than I can say

Just think at the funeral - we are all standing next to you, holding your hand. Giving you a hug. Just being there for you at the difficult time.

I am sure if it was possible I would have all of you there showing me and everyone the strength and number of those who care - not that others don't - but ah families - everyone will be bundled up with their own sorrow and memories and I really don't have to worry about that.
My mother won't be there - she can no longer comment - she can no longer make more memories to grieve over
Only good ones today - I have her beautiful earrings in - I thought I might have trouble with that - but that was easy - and also the cross my other uncle gave me many many years ago
I shall carry all your best wishes in my heart

Great dream @Former-Member, a message there sonewhere - i was thinking, apart from making sure you read the signs & small print (you're not signing any documents today are you?), I thought it might be more about who you jump into the pit with. lol
