Hmm credit card's ..I know. Too tempting, because I'm impulsive on that front.
But kid's, life has pulled me up.
Sky dive to wipe out stuff? Or for the sheer thrill with nothing to loose? Or adrenaline junkie? Hmm..my first impression is sadness.
I think fix tooth.
Go hassle centrelink, then reward yourself with something, because those dude's drive anyone batty.

@Former-Member I just read your story about phone call with your mar. It was dreadful and a testament to you, that you grew yourself up and learned how to nurture. Yep we need to re-mother ourselves a lot. I dont buy into ridicule and putting others down. I always step back if such things are going on. Yet it is extra hard work when it is a person who is a relative. I am pretty sure God does not expect you to love hurtful behaviour and if we have to work too hard to separate the person from the behaviour .. it kinda dilutes our love.

I like hearing about your soups .. . I have been doing same since the rellies from overseas came to visit 25 years ago. I figured it would give me a breather when cooking for them. I never thort of me as a kitchen mama .... but maybe it finally has happened ..

@Former-Member Your boys sound great and they are lucky to have YOU.

@TAB and we all gotta mother you .. hope the tooth infection gets better ... when are you booked in?

I just read your story about your mar and the humilation of her mistreatment of you - really bad

My story is different - perhaps not as public - but horrible

I somehow ignored a lot of it - which probably made it worse - but I can never understand how people can be so cruel

My didn't go down a generation either - thank God for that
