Ahh sorry my ramblings.. guess so.
There used to be a graffiti piece on trainline that I always liked, Stands to Reason.
But sometimes there is no reason!

Re: Sleeping too much

ARen't we all asleep on this thread @Appleblossom ?? It's great to see you too my dearly. xx

Today, I took my youngest son to the hospital for his results for his last MRI. It was good news and he doesnt need to see the neurologist unless he get's any problems. The neurologist was WONDERFUL. I did write the neurologist was wanderful didnt I ? My son has told her last time he saw her that he was smoking green so I of course, brought it up and ........theres no problems.

I need to get to sleep now.

Re: Sleeping too much

Hi @Former-Member,

i read this post earlier and I found it so sad that you were treated that way by your mum. It seems so very cruel. I have lots of advice to offer which would all be about protecting you but it may not be very helpful as I'm not in your shoes. I am working my way through my issues with mine too as she trips me up often lately as well but in a very different way to yours. I don't believe you need to have a relationship with her on her terms only. Relationships are always about two people. I really believe that for now @Former-Member you need to do whatever you can to protect you. You don't deserve to be treated poorly by anyone but especially from your mum. I really feel for you with this pain she keeps inflicting on you and it sounds like she has for your whole life.

My therapist is a huge fan of Russ Harris and so I have read all his books but not for a while. Maybe it's time to read them again.

As for me I've had a rough day. For now I'm ok when I can concentrate on the present but the minute I think about the future, like even tomorrow, suicidal thoughts keep coming. My goal for now is to work out how to live for now and be ok with me in the present. My emotions are out of control currently and forgetting my medication for 3 days out of the last 6 isn't helping me either. There's been a bit of self sabotaging too which isn't helping. Anyway that's my lot.

I really hope you got to do some self compassion for you and that your day got better. Sending hugs 💜💜💜💐💐💐

Thanks for the shout out earlier @PeppiPatty. I am really happy for you that your sons tests went well and things are looking good for him. I'm still a bit wobbly but ok. Take care 💜😊💐
