Hi @utopia

Thanks for the idea of the low fume paint - if the Ministry of Housing decides to paint my unit I will ask for that paint and maybe my specialist will give me an authority for that - otherwise I will make up the difference myself

Re: Sleeping too much

I'm with you @Former-Member. Still in bed trying to find motivation for the day. Driving myself nuts at the moment. Hopefully will get my self sorted soon. Weathers not helping either. Might have to help each other move. @TAB you're sounding like you're ahead of us and it's earlier for you. Good on ya💜😊

Re: Sleeping too much

@Former-Member I'm in caravan park, so have have to walk to toilet. Too slow for cleaners this morn so was 50 metre walk lol. Showers avail in 20mins. Cleaners like to stay in there right to the minute,

Anyhoo, am feeling crap phys today, well not that bad, but bad enough to think I was mad re thinking was going to work yest. So I wasn't playing possum. That's good.

so my tardiness has put me behind. Phone calls today, washing, shopping, research re options for what doing with self in immmediate future lol

Re: Sleeping too much

Thanks @utopia

Thinking about childbirth - yes - some women go back for more and still more - I am glad I only have one childbirth adventure and that was pretty easy - they gave me something for the pain but that was more to calm me and make it easier for the premature birth I think - I was concerned to a serious degree when I was in labour - this was my last try after several miscarriages - I hardly remember any pain if there was much at all

But the car accident was harder - if I get a flashback - and it occurs to me I haven't had one in a while - it only takes seconds but seems to take much longer -

It was more than that - my mother was one the phone yelling at me and the nurse took the phone off me and told her that was no way to talk to someone who had been injured in a car accident - and then my son died and I could not tell my parents - my husband had to do that - and all the time I was thinking that I thought it would be safe in Juvenile Dentention - but he wasn't

And I had better stop because my heart is starting to race and I don't like this at all. In my frontal cortex my brain knows I did not cause any of this and nothing I did was wrong - but too much was said - too much was criticized - I can tell I have not come to the end of my story regardless of how often I tell it

And nothing can change it - at least I know what happened and I know my son has a resting place though I never go there - he is not there. I know people want closure but I doubt that exists

But this EMDR sounds interesting - it might work - I can only try - but I am letting time pass after finishing with my therapist in July - after several weeks of not seeing her because she was away then I was awaye - and it seemed right to end it there.

I can be aware - that's okay - but I rarely have a peaceful state of mind about those few days - and sometimes wake up with terrible desolation -

Thanks for all that info -

Re: Sleeping too much

@decadia. You will never forget your son lo r the car accident or your mum yelling on the phone. But your body can stop reacting as if it's living it now.
Sorry you are starting to get those symptoms again. I know how awful the attacks can feel.
Do what you need to do to find calm and peaceful thoughts.

Re: Sleeping too much

You'll get there @TAB. I can't get my act together today at all. Feeling physically like crap too but it's all self perpetuated. I need to go and do stuff or I'll fall into a hole I can't get out of. I hope your day improves.
