being 'hip' aint being a hippie I would offer.. yes, born early 60s, used to rock a pink Hey Charger Peace Sign (fingers)singlet as kid, was toyboy to a 'real' hippie at age 30 ish ..anyhooo @Former-Member
..the best 'peace sign' singlet ever saw tho was this old nutter who had been in vietnam when was in Army 1982 .. it looked like Peace sign from distance .. then when looked closer it was a B52, and around the outer circle it said 'Peace Hell, Bomb Hanoi'.. ,lol @Former-Member

wow - one day of being to busy to check this page and I've missed heaps. Only read a few posts. Just got home and finished eating take away pizza.
Sold lots of raffle tickets - good thing about a small town - the community is always willing to lend a hand or chip in a few dollars.
@Decadian- I'm not sure who this Disneyland dad is - but I wish I knew him. Still waiting for my ex to get back to me about paying half the costs of the band camp. Even though I didn't ask him for any money for the normal year camp. And band camp is bloody expensive.
@Faith-and-Hope sorry to hear about your daughters art teacher. I don't know the full story - but from what I gather, your daughter has had a hard time lately for whatever reason & she is now putting in a huge effort to improve things. The last thing she needs is a b**** of a teacher making her life harder. We have all experienced in our lives when things have gone wrong (some we may have caused), but we then learn & try to do and be better. And to then have someone put you down or treat you like s*** - that's bloody hurtful and possibly harmful to your daughters growth. Sorry but it makes me real angry - especially when it happens to a child or teen or young adult.

..pain relief on offer here lol @utopia glad you sold tickets. Have a bung fritz cheese and tom sauce sanga for me ok or Newmans Horseradish, a Vilis pie . well, maybe, Crowleys not goin anymore lol

..Crowleys became offshoot of Prices, who got to big and dropped quality, but their Kitchener Buns were to die for once, oh well, Orange Spot etc still going .. can you guess that I had planned (sorta) to go back 'home' month or so ago lol

Yes my sister's had braces too but when young.
We all had different teeth, mine least troublesome but its amazing what braces do!
My teeth hurt a little now, but it's bearable. My threshold is pretty good. 😊

It's so frustrating when things don't work!
I'm not patient in that respect lol.
Gosh you got through a lot, does warm weather ease your ailments too?
I find it really boosts my mood, relaxes.
The Cold mentally challenges me more, I'm more on edge. I've always been that way.
Unfortunately rain is on its way. Oh well. Rug up tomorrow again.
My youngest is obviously tired. Bit naughty. I'll be glad for some silence. ❤

Lol I've been engrossed just now with watching a BBC show the living & the dead. It's haunting.
Taking me places I forget in my own mind.
Strange how memory works.
The old butter probably knew a thing or two also.
There is a homeless man here with a couple of dogs. He wears a few tie dye t-shirts.
He's such a kind person.
I sometimes wonder what his story really is.❤
