Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

@Determined... at present, it meets the definition of necessity, but it's discouraging. We've really tried to get to a point where we could say "bye bye" to Centrelink, but I've been pushing so hard for so long, looking after crisis on top of crisis. It's just worn me down to the point where I cannot work consistently. But I'll still be "working" as hard as I can manage looking after other people anyway.

@Smc I can relate to all of that unfortunately.

When I left full time work (almost 4 years ago) I had a plan to be seeking full time employment again by the end of this year. Unfortunately for me it currently seems further away than it did this time 4 years ago. For me this is going to require a greater commitment to self care and boundaries to see any change. Currently a work in progress.

Start of a new day and commiting to beginning it more positively. Birds are singing outside, somthing I have not noticed for a while. (Sure they have still been there, I have just not noticed them),

I am now on study break for another 4 weeks, have a few projects to catch up on around the home but takig time out during this time for some self care and quality time with children. School holidays start at the end of this week S1 has 2 weeks S2 has 3 weeks. (They both feel ripped off for opposite reasons lol). Will dust the boat off tomorrow and hope a). It still runs and b). The wind drops by next week so it may be a little more pleasant on the water.

Sounds like a good plan @Determined. Rest, recuperate and recreation. Off on my morning walks now. Have a great day everyone. 🚶🏻‍♀️🐶

I am more successful getting out for a walk in the late afternoon, not a morning person at all. My darling has just finished an hour on the bike trainer, dont know how she does it this early in the morning but hoping it will make a difference for her.

Boat has sat for so long fuel will ned to be drained and replaced anyway.

Back from my walks. First one with slow coach pooch around the park where there's lots to sniff at. Second one at a brisker pace stopping by the grocery store to pick up pasta, chicken and veges for dinner tonight. I do a third walk late afternoon @Determined again with the pooch but take a different route and she's a little bit faster at that time of day.
