Feeling a bit sorry for myself, wondering what I did to deserve this life. Is it one big cruel joke? Why are you all wired up @Determined?

My darling is on the verge of another melt down I feel, about to start a new job (only 5 werks of relief work at the momet 5 - 10 hours a week) but again as often before when ever I get to do somthing for myself everything around me turns to poo.

Feeling down as I cant work full time at the moment also, just cant handle any form of stress without fatigje taking over,

That's got to be stressful. How do you know when she's headed that way? Is it related to you going back to work or was that just a co incidence?

It's difficult to let go of all this anxiety isn't it @Determined. Just have to hope that better times are ahead.

The resilt of burnout @soul

The thread on Tuesday nignt as with many others here was very relevant to me, I went many years supporting my darling while working in a high stress inviornment without getting help for myself. The breaking point was after Dad died and I aas supporting Mum as well because all of my siblings buggered off and left me to it.

So just and overflow from all that. Just cant stop thinking about all that has gone wrong and what coild have been different.

I suspect it is to do with me going back to work @soul, it means that Iwont be on hand to look after the children. She will have to do a school run 1 day a week also and finds that stressful.

I can relate to that. I was experiencing the sandwich generation thing. Stuck in a loveless marriage, feeling like a single parent looking after my kids and my parents. Siblings too busy living the high life. Marriage fell apart and what I thought was love came my way only to be revealed as an abusive liaison. I had left my home, divorced, relinquished the care of my mother some years after my father had died and started to looking out for myself.

I feel it was punishment - the abuse stuff. Wish I could turn back time as it was better than what I was subjected to. Now having to deal with trauma and an uncertain future.

Sounds tough @soul regret is somthing I find hard to deal with.
