Definitely agree there. The good thing is that he is seeing a psychologist and wanting to get better. The bad thing is the isolation currently and whether it is due to not feeling worth of support or fear of trusting someone to support him that they will leave him.

With your question - it is adequate for me right now and I am prepared to wait. Of course this is provided that he allows and accepts my actions of supporting him through this. Take baby steps to improvement in his communication. I am aware that this is not an overnight fix and it is a long term. Something I am not oblivious too. Guess time will tell.

As @Former-Member said - got to follow your heart and for now it is saying to stay for now. Even my head is telling me the same thing. I believe when I fonally have that convo with him my next step will be determined. With MI think you have to take it step by step. Definitely am ensuring I look after myself

My day started off with a bang having to go to court to.........wait for it..........try and get another restraining order on the stalker I had in my life when I first joined SAne Forums.........now Legal Aid lawyers pretty much know me personally and we are almost married, we were joking about it this morning...........They sort of not really but sort of ignored me before but now, they are'nt.

Thank you again. I'm 49 years young.

Coming up @Shaz51. It was a good day today. The SANE Help Centre team had some training in narrative therapy which was really interesting. Not sure it fully settled into my brain but definitely something to investigate more and try to incorporate. How was your day?

I am slowly getting over a kidney infection

yesterday Hubby was ready to give up work forever , so today we worked just for the morning , came home, had lunch and then hubby slept for 4 hours this afternoon --

he wasn`t kidding that he was tired and exhausted
