Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

I have spent the afternoon getting bills paid that my hubby was responsible for before utilities got cut off - last chance day today .....

Stress ?? What stress ??!!

He has been too busy walking for hours a day on a leg he is under dr’s orders to stay off, pending surgery .....😔

Anyway, it’s done (bills paid) .... so life limps on ..... roll on diagnosis !!

I started back at uni today 🎉 and got great results on last semester’s work 🎉🎈🙏

Sticking to the positives as much as possible .....

Lol @Faith-and-Hope I think One of.our boys has developed a love bond in walking the dog. Only I suspect it has more to do with the little lady from up the road who comes out and walks the dog with him 😍

I was very under-weight for the past 4 & 1/2 years - due my bowels (& digestion) not working well at all.

That happened, because when my 2nd major surgery disconnected my bowels (for 6 months), with a stoma & a bag - the good digestive bacteria all died.

When re-connected (3rd surgery for Reversal of illeostomy) - things never worked well, since.

I'm now happy to say that in the past 3 months (for the 1st time in 4 & 1/2 years) - I have gained all my weight back (& more), despite digestion still not working well.

So I got a happy surprise, when I weighed myself (on scales)....

Once apon a time I used to be able to eat anything I wanted and never went over lower end healthy weight. Then I began a career that had high pressure and stress with long hours in front of a computer and a diet of coffee and cookies. 5 years on from leaving that enviornment and my metabolism still does not know what to do.

My mum keeps telling me one can't fix 15 years of abuse in 5 minutes. Seems she is right lol.
