I finally got some pain relief (a bit) - the Locum Dr came out, a few hours ago.

No ordinary pain tablets were doing anything (not helping) - so he gave me a script for some much stronger stuff.

Unfortunately it "causes drowsiness". Any drowsiness medication virtually knocks me out (very susceptible).

So I'm very knocked out right now - at least my shoulder is less painful...

Know what you mean about hugs. I went to first rehearsal with the men today, was offered 2 hugs from 2 young men whom I have known for about 5-8 years. It really helped.

This has been a good week irl as son also offered one.

Usually its been years between hugs. lol

Cyber hugs are better than none.

What was amazing at the fundraiser/soiree last night was that an older well to do European madam told me off as I had said "No thanks" to the waiters twice. She said I had to eat the food in a very bossy voice ... God I have no idea what that was about. I was struggling with the drink, chat and eat .... a bit anxious about making the right chat ... so was keeping life simple. I paid for my ticket (A lot) so I should be able to decide what and how much I was to eat ... I couldnt believe it. Shades of the orphanage where a lady took against me for not eating everything ... must have a sign on my forehead .... no wonder I have bloomin food and weight issues.
