Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

Morning @Faith-and-Hope, always lovely to stop for a cuppa with you. I'm spoiling myself this week and bought those sachet things, this morning is a cafe latte, yum, plenty to go round. So quiet here today, beautiful Saturdays morning in the country. Thats the best part about living here, its quiet and safe.

You sure have busy times atm. All the best with the inlaws. Q - is D1 marrying a Greek man? Will you have to house interstate or overseas visitors? Feel for you, keep taking those walks and enjoying / breathing in deeply the little God given blessings each day. You can do this Ugg lol.

Thanks for the headsup on the CG its weird, - were all MH suffers or carers. i think 'senior contributor' is ranking enough. If it has to be, maybe Forum managers could involve ALL contributors in the decision process, of who best fits a title. It's not rocket science (first year social work actually). They will figure it out. It concerns me that newcomers are misled by the title - i was, expected too much from CG and got a few lashings from a couple - but now i know why, theyre just like me. Enough on that.

Your cooking adventures a very brave. All the garden lovelies. I'm officially impressed. And how lucky are you to have a friend thats a cook! I'm not as brave as you, when i have visitors i stick to well known dishes that simply can't go wrong. I'll be thinking of you. Its all so exciting to hear about. .

Well I wonder if my S1 will ever come back to the faith. It makes all the difference to any relationship to have such a powerful common yoke.
Well, its a beautiful day, i've had my day in bed on pain killers after Thurs (must build up my resilience). Theres so much to do still with the Garage Sale and Bathroom and the lawn is nearly up to my knees in clover patches grr.

You encourage me more than you know y'know ..... 🌷💗 You do remind me of my mum more than you'll ever realise .... and in a lot of ways my mum was like a big sister to me .... it's nice .... love-touches .... and unexpected ....

Lovely gentle rain still happening here atm .... nice for walking under an umbrella without being splashed by rainy wind. Lovely from the coffee shop window too. Quiet and green here.

Think the CG is intended as a service role rather than a title or promotion of any sort .... still just being me .... but I will let the mods take it up .... they have worked with previous CG's to work out the fit .... but the dynamic seems to be different this time .... probably because we have all developed a closeness that might not have been there with previous crowds ..... dunno .... but let's let it work itself out by degrees ..... "the way will open" was one of my mum's favourite sayings .....

I'm seeing some of the earlier CG's really struggling at the moment .... heart is aching for them .... they are needing support themselves right now .... must be like that with nursing. Nurses need nursing too .... and teachers need teaching .... and artists need .... what ? More art ..... ? I think there are a lot of lonely artists ..... probably feeds a lot of their artistic expression ....

My mum didn't cook much. Had her tried and true recipes and stuck to them .... but it means they are my most special ones now. Let me know if you would like her date loaf recipe ....
