Hey @Bow - thanks for feeling safe to share that you're in this vulnerable place right now. I hope you are able to ride the wave and support yourself in other ways, but if you do end up self-harming please try to be kind to yourself, and not sit too heavily in that space of shame.
All those suggestions you've been given are absolutely helpful but they do not tackle the root issue - it's a similar struggle faced by many with drug dependency. Snapping a rubber band may ensure you're not doing deeper damage, but it doesn't stop the distress that ignited the SH urges in the first place. It's a coping tool, and there's no shame in that.

I'm glad @Angels333. I saw your tag a couple days ago and hadn't managed to come on.
Yes please do update me. I'll be thinking of you.
I have some news for you. I'm pregnant again. All is going well this time, so hopefully it continues to do so. Due late September x

@Bow shame is awful, especially when it has become entrenched into your sense of self... Since belonging is a survival instinct for humans, to feel as though we are separated from the group by this internalised shame can threaten our inner sense of safety.
It's okay if you're not up for reading it tonight but I thought I'd share this link anyway to highlight some of the ways we can be impacted by shame - especially long-term.
Toxic Shame: What it is and how to cope

@TAB just a querie, how are you going with the drinking as the only thing that ever eases my anxiety is alcohol ... I've had to use this technique tonight as I was almost psychotic...
