@Snowie I notice the same thing. And wonder how some of the professionally qualified people ever got through the assignments to complete their studies. It was really that I wanted to communicate effectively online and in written work that stimulated my wish to type quickly. My mother was a stenographer - shorthand typist, so, it is partly in deference to, and memory of her also.

Kirra is very lively, but we've worked out a game where I sit with a staff and throw a netball type ball with a hole cut in it. It's her game, so she makes the rules and lets me play every now and again. It really is amazing how animals sense limits and limitations.

Hopefully she is out on time and I can come back and sleep.

Lucky I don't have to wake up early in the morning.

@HenryX I am amazed at how dogs sense so much in us. Mine senses when I am distressed and will come and sit on my lap or next to me.

That's nice of the dog to include you sometimes. I am glad she has her own game to keep her happy. She sounds like my friends's dog. She is a big Labradoodle. She will chase her toy then go mad running back in forth in the backyard before finally bringing it back to you to throw again. She really seams happy to play her own kind of game with it.

Had a little laugh back there. I was thinking that it was late for your return home Meggle, but then remembered that you said you are in the West, so not as late as I thought.

Snowie, is your daughter studying or working?

My daughter is still at school so she just works casual at McDonalds. It is good for her to earn her own money. She has only been working for about 6 months but seems to enjoy it.

Only problem is these late night shifts. Have to stay awake to pick her up!!
