One of my fave places is the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, partly because some of my closest family members live there and partly because the natural environment and little villages are so beautiful

Hi @frog good to see you. Love your pictures and that part of the country too. I went up to Melany not so long ago with my sister. Had a lovely afternoon pottering around there. A highlight (other than the views of course) was finding an amazing textile shop there. Really old fashioned with an incredible array of fabrics. Of course the ones I loved the most had to be the most expensive!

Going to do something else for a while but will be back later. Having a fun chat with my old mate from Darwin who will visit here later in the year. Take care all, have a peaceful day xx

Ahhh nice one @eth ... enjoy the chat with Mr Darwin. Looking like borders will be reopening mid July, so perhaps that visit is not too far away.

That food sure looks good - yes - I would enjoy the real thing and admit today it would be really great to have someone to cook for me - I have plenty of food in my fridge and will manage but you know there are times when it would be a comfortable pleasure

Yes I thought you may appreciate some food prep right now @Owlunar as you continue to recover from that shoulder of yours. Did you enjoy the music as well? Not classical, but some lovely ballads etc there. Beginning with a song about rain, which is what many are likely to get today.

I have tried a couple of times to upload pictures of my favourite places but it doesnt seem to want to work for me today.

Crystal Caslte near Bryon Bay is an amazing place to visit and just be, hubby and I try to get there as soon as it opens so we can enjoy it before the families start coming. Children really can't be expected to understand that it is a quiet space.

Springbrook and the Natural arch in the Gold Coast hinterlands is a spectacular place to visit, bush walks and waterfalls. The drive up there is enough alone it is so picturesque and tranquil.

Any surf beach on either the Sunshine Coast or the Gold Coast, the sound of the waves crashing can bring me down for a highten state in under 5 minutes so lucky for me I can get to either coast in an hour.

Now for where I want to go, my dream vaction would be to go and see the pymarids in Egypt, Colosseum in Rome and of course Paris.

Hi All! Thanks for the tag @Shaz51 . Woke at 6am today. So that's a new record for sleeping in. Normally I'm up at 3. So that's a win. I planted a couple of new trees (well I watched as my partner and stepson dug holes) and have made some cinnamon and Apple scrolls. But feeling exhausted now. But good tired for once. 😊
