I've been doing research about smoking and coffee use with people who have serious psychiatric diagnoses which is the category i fall into ... plus investigating the interactions they have with medications. Kind of a sentence i must say ....

Hey @eudemonism my psychologist recently gave me a report that talks about the relationship between PTSD and smoking - how we use it to manage "negative affect" - very interesting reading. Helped me understand why the psychological aspect of the addiction (I have) is so difficult to beat. You could probably google it if you're interested. Hope having today at home has some good bits in it for you.

@Ali11 baristas have all sorts of skills these days that weren't part of the job in the days when I worked in cafes. But that was a very long time ago now - 30 years. It's all in the way you wiggle the milk jug!

Thawing my toes out, & getting warm is a top priority.

I could run lots of hot water, just for the fun of it - to test out my new hot water system.

However, the large unexpected expense dampened my excitement.

Hi everyone

It's good to find someone about - I didn't think to look at the Saturday Soiree -

atm I am at the aiport and my plane and every other flight is delayed - it's bedlam here atm because one plane finally arrived and people are all around waiting to board

What fun - it's okay though - I am a seasoned traveller by now and not every airport has a business class lounge - I have been spoiled - my plane is only an hour late - the one boarding in a few minutes is 3 hours late - things will settle down when these people can board -

I'm just saying - not complaining - I just want to join in the chat -

It's great at Twin Waters where I was staying - a fabulous place - near the surf beach and it also has a lagoon where there are water sports for the kids - school holidays - the rooms are bigger down the other end from where I was staying - it was very quiet at the end where I was
