Saturday Soiree - all welcome!!

Hi @MDT it's nice to see you too. I came home Tuesday night and have been catching up on life since. Felt a bit hectic at first but am pacing myself now. When I arrived home the house was wide open (bro and sil away for a couple of nights) and I went into a full panic state within moments. It turned out there was no thief to disturb and nothing was missing, but still took a while to calm down. I was really pissed off to see myself react so strongly and instantly after such total relaxation for the duration of my time away.

How are things going for you lately?

Nice to meet you and thanks for the invite.
It would have been pretty scary coming home from a holiday with your house wide open. It reminds me of a time when I went for a walk and left the front door unlocked. When I returned home the front door was wide open so I immediately thought I had an intruder inside. I was single at the time so no "man about the house" to call on. So I borrowed my neighbour's husband and he did a walk through the house before I entered. When he came out he said all was clear and he told me he even looked behind doors and under the beds lol and God love him.
