@eth @TAB @MDT @Bimby2 @Molliex @Shaz51 @Former-Member and everyone else here today. good morning guys, how are you starting your Saturday? for me I'm cleaning the spare room. our youngest child is coming today. we haven't seen him since our last family holiday in January. it's a little hard to contain my excitement, I love when they visit. our family is close, it means so much to us, we all live in different states. so yeah I'm screaming with excitement today!!!!!

Hi to all who've dropped by. @frog @Bimby2 @Adge @TAB @octavia @MDT @cutiepiekitty @Shaz51 and anyone I've missed.

I went offline for a while to work on a piece I'm writing to perform at a live reading at the art gallery in town on Tuesday afternoon. It's about how the place of my birth is not my country, in response to an exhibition of landscapes. Been working on it since last night and it's full of edits but getting there. All the places where I feel I have roots due to transformative experiences in country, both PNG and Oz. It's scary getting up on the podium, but so good for my self confidence and self worth, especially since I recently won a prize. A major goal for me is to be writing regularly while my bipolar is stable, not just when I'm manic as it has been most of my life.

Hope today is going well for you all. Octavia and cutiepiekitty so nice to hear things are going pretty well for you.

I got this book today so it’s my addition to how I’m feeling! I’ve been shopping and now plan to chill by reading some magazines and then heading to the library for a market that’s on. I’ve had several coffees so I’m pretty good in that area as well.

Cool book @Judi9877 I just did another mandala. And more of the piece I'm writing just came to me while I was doing it. So good to be reconnecting with mindful activities after busyness took over the last month or so. So healthy for us. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Nice @Judi9877 I was a kid in 70s, around grade 5 ish had a pink singlet with a hand doing peace sign on it lol, well and everyone had tie die tshirts, Bonds used to make them lol
