Hi @eth I've been out looking for replacement birds (for those that died last week).

I could not find any - it's proving too hard (so far).

So I bought some new water hoppers (whilst there) - I want to try to ensure that such a thing does not happen again.

It's so sad seeing my empty aviary, with them all gone.

It's going to be a long haul, possibly a long wait.

I cannot do without my feathered family - all singing away, & bouncing around...

Hearing you @cutiepiekitty .... writing a letter sounds like a good idea. You are entitled to a voice, and your own opinions, and yes, worth waiting a bit to be able to say what you need to politely enough ..... that is always a good idea. It lets them know that what you are saying has been carefully considered.

Do you have a local library ? Librarians can usually help with things like how to Skype, and maybe where to find support services who Skype ?

I'm not a fan of birds as pets @Adge , but hear what you are saying and appreciate your loss. Its sad. I throw food scraps on back lawn, it gets interest from native pigeons mainly, a pair lives under veranda seems also crows and maggies drop in

Very nice @TAB Only feral pigeons come into my backyard (no natives) - Laughing Turtledoves (an Asian species).

Plus there's the European Rock dove, that you see huge flocks of (in most cities).

And the feral Laughing Kookaburra (from eastern Aust), that sits on my power line laughing....

I've virtually never seen any native dove in Perth (here) - only down south.

my bird knowledge is very limited @Adge , these arent run of mill pigeons, are a lot smaller and one colour, sort of dirty grey and a few spots perhaps am in WA also
