@MDT know just what you mean about going out, spending money and recovering. Am spending time recovering from a day out yeasterday, but was totally worth it! Did not even spend too much, mostly what I got from selling some craft stuff so all good.

From a cheap shop they had small ice cube blocks. Not the big blue ones but same as those just in a sm size. Theyre good too & cheap.

Its gone quite mild here again. Lovely breeze i dont even have the fan on. Great for this time of yr. Hope it stays like this for the whole of oct.

Im not looking for to summer.

Altho when i got here i purchased half price dehumidifyers. Cause the temps dont go up but the humidity does.

I cant afford to b running aircon all day & these use about 1/3 of cost.

So im really keen to test out my theory come summer when its really sticky

Ive been telling a lot of people.

Cause we just assume its hotter cause we get sticky & lose the plot but its just the humidity that actually rises.

Well sure some days it does get over 30 but i watched the temps all last summer here & it rarely went higher than 32. Most days were 30.

Theyre good cause they have a timer on them too so ill just pop it on for 2hrs in arvo when its uncomfortable so i come home from lollipop duty & itll b dry inside. Ill then take a shower & stay dry.

@MDT I am watching Vera, then plan on putting on some old eps of Prisoner (cell block H). Used to watch it when I was with Nana, and the whole series is on youtube. A few are bad and a bit triggering though now!

Having a quiet weekend at home with the dog. Bro and sil have gone camping til late tomorrow. It's nice to slow down after a fairly busy week.

And I have my adult child and 2 grandchildren coming to stay for a few days next week so if I'm not around much again that will be why.

@Adge it's really good for you to rest your body after a massage. Gives it a chance to really sink in and give you max benefit.
