Overwhelmed

Overwhelmed

Hello,

How do you guys deal with the feeling of being overwhelmed when reading your weekly appointments, to do lists.... I have already cut down my expectations to a bare minimum of my previous self and still feel overwhelmed although I am more than capable of the task, or rather should be. This includes everything in my life, work, leisure, house work ....

I try to cut down where I can or encourage myself that I can do it and sometimes it works, sometimes I need to take my meds to focus - but I would like to learn how to manage without my meds (this is additional to my normal daily / nightly doses).

What do you do? Thank you x

Hi there @Kurra 🙂

Good to see you 🙂 I was figuring that to be the case. I have emailed them, awaiting reply.

I tried calling them, but kept getting sent to the wrong areas.

Hi @Former-Member 🙂

Well....small business, and I guess I am the 'supervisor' 😄 I do the list thing, I have the daily "to do" list, which helps, and a daily time record, and although they do help, it's my head that overwhelms 😞

I think I have everything pretty much done that needs doing by the 30th. I hope. Cross fingers 😉

Maybe next year will be better 🙂 More organised 😉 (I've been saying that for near 40 years hahahaha )

I have finally, about two months ago, requested a med that helps quieten the ADD, and it has just started to kick in. Unfortunately, I seem to have been clobbered with an head cold as well, so they counteract each other to a slight degree 😄

We'll get there 😉 Thanks for the replies, much appreciated 🙂

Hugs 🙂 🙂 🙂
