Learning to live (and be myself) again

Learning to live (and be myself) again

I've been through some major highs and lows since i recieved my diagnosis. And by highs and lows i mean stages of good and bad health. Stages of working and unemployment. Bouts of depression and anxiety on a daily basis....I've had all sorts of stuff going on basically.

Re: Learning to live (and be myself) again

@Sophia1 The tedious problems I'm dealing with always come back . No matter how well i manage my life. There's always tedious problems all throughout every aspect of my life. Talking about them is futile because it changes nothing. I think getting on with life is the best option but my life is so derailed from EVERYTHING there is no sense of normaility of functionality anymore.

Being mindful and remembering to breath may seem like simple things in life but they do often take effort @eudemonism - but reminding ourselves to do those things when things begin getting on top of us is always a good thing. It is often those baby steps we take that lead us to actually moving forward - you are taking those steps in just thinking about the changes you want tp make and that is positive.

Thinking of you and sending warm wishes for a better day today @eudemonism . Buying some healthy food sounds like a good plan. Eating well can really help our mental health too. Take care.

What makes you say that @eudemonism

Are there small things you can start with maybe?

Re: Learning to live (and be myself) again

@MDT i haven't been feeling real good for along time now

Everything is a big effort. Don't see the point in anything anymore .

No other option but to keep going though. I suppose .

Re: Learning to live (and be myself) again

hmm I see Eude

I have been feeling that way for a month or so..

Sometimes just ensuring that I keep on going is all I can do. I also think that's the only thing we can do sometimes.

do you like music? I have found music can match my mood and it's pretty cathartic

@MDT

I go through stages of liking and disliking music always something i can relate to with music though

Thinking I'm going to force myself to do a few things . Dishes. Shower. Make the bed . Have a cup of tea .
