I thought I would start a new discussion/thread for us to check in, and especially when needing extra support. I hope this helps 😃

Hey there @Faith-and-Hope, I have been using a microwaveable heat pack as the disposable stick on ones I cannot afford. I did try deep heat cream but it actually burned me as I have very sensitive skin. I’m thinking of applying for a NILs loan to buy a tens machine. Not sure if they allow the machine to be purchased that way though.

Hi @outlander I had to change my physio exercises recently as they were leaving me in agony. Now I have a diagnosis, hopefully something like physio can be tailored to help.

Hi @Queenie
Thank you for checking in and keeping us in the loop. I am sorry this has happen to you. Perhaps do research, on your condition, so you have knowledge and understanding of the health condition. That way you can discuss some options with your Drs. And talk through with them, and make decisions together on what would be best for you. Thinking of you and wishing you all the best..

I'm so sorry @Queenie to read about your latest medical diagnosis and how debilitating it is for you.
One of my friends has had scoliosis that has progressed into arthritis in the neck and spine with spurs and another condition I have forgotten the name of, but it is inoperable and she doesn't have much time left until she will not be able to work at all. Very stressful for her partner and financially too.
She is in the same conundrum as you, she knows the dangers of pain killers and has been sickened reading about the Sackler Family and Purdue Pharma in the US, but is in absolute agony and it has made her very depressed and housebound at times. I hope that you get some relief this weekend but it is another blow to your health that you didn't need.
Corny xx

I am checking in tonight because I am feeling depressed and a bit anxious. I think the reason I am feeling depressed because I have been bottling up my emotions. I have felt quite a bit stress of late. And just feel isolated and alone in this at times- that I am not good enough.
