An organ transplant is a big deal and you are really courageous to go through this and Mr Shaz too - this is fantastic news and I wish both of you the best with all the tests and everything and hope Mr Shaz is compatable so he can donate because I think it would be an excellent thing for both of you

Your Mum though - 9 weeks of arm redressing - I guess she is taking strong antibiotics for that and it's all tough for all of you too

My goodness .. so much has been happening for you and around you, that I hardly know where to start.

Your poor Mum and her infected arm ... I can relate to that because my Dad was similar with his infected toe last year. He was getting it checked and dressed at the Drs 3 days a week for a couple of months. It so hard on them, as well as for those caring for them. And of course you already have so much going on. I am sooo pleased that you are doing what is required to get onto the kidney transplant list. Wow ... wouldnt that be fabulous if Mr Shaz was able to donate a kidney! I am sure he would feel so good about that too, if he were able to do so. I know with the Coronavirus shutdowns, transplants were not happening for a time. Though I believe that they are back on from this weekend? Its natural that they are cautious about it though, due to the drugs transplant recipients need to be on in order to prevent organ rejection. It means recipients are very exposed to infection due to immune suppression. Hopefully things get back on track soon though, because do many people are awaiting that longed for call (about a donor organ being available).

Anyway Shaz ... I am here, I am following along, I care a great deal about you ... and I thank you so very much for your continued support during a really difficult time for me. Showing your support does not mean taking sides .. and you've done that very well. Thank you. 💖 You are a truly wonderful lady.

yes the skin around mum`s wound is not healing as it should be , a staph infection in it my second mum @Owlunar and @Former-Member

this afternoon we waited for the plumber and no one came , they rang and said we will come tomorrow xx

I really hate it when someone is supposed to turn up to attend to this or that and I wait all day and they don't come - that can be like a splinter in the back of my shirt itching like the blazes - and of course should I take the shirt of to deal with it the man would turn up - ouch!

But you have a clean house and your lawns are mowed

So - I hear about your Mum - the antibiotics so necessary to deal with the staph infection are making her bowel worse. I am groaning in sympathy - antibiotics make me feel wretched at times and there are very few I can take. Your mum is a battler and having a wound on her arm that won't heal is no good for her at all - and I know she is tired - very tired. I wish I could visit and sit with her - I know this is impossible but I feel as if I almost know her. Perhaps I can send some virtual flowers
