My mum was a softballer @Zoe7 .... brings back memories of watching her play, coach, umpire, score, set up the field, captain the team .... y'know how it is in country / outback towns .... 😏

I recall playing softball at high school @Zoe7. It was our turn to field and I was standing way out bored to tears. The guys were playing football on the adjacent oval so I was watching them.
All of a sudden a player from the opposition team batted the ball really hard and it hit me right in the face - not happy but deserved I guess for not paying attention.
