The Beer Garden

The Beer Garden

i encourage you all to join me for some casual drinking, social lubrication and light laughter right here in the beer garden.

Oh and before anyone gets up in arms about alcohol and its dangers the main beer on tap is VB or virtual beer

beer is the third most commonly consumed drink in the world behind water and tea

why not share the worlds joy with friends

Of course there's a breakfast menu, have a gander at it. It has everything you can imagine of!

Re: The Beer Garden

I'm glad you enjoyed it @Former-Member. I'm sure it's been really good for you, despite the welts ......

I have caught myself cleaning under my fongernails constantly. I think the nervous energy needs to go somewhere !! The more traditional Greek men (and not just men these days) carry something called "worry beads" colloquially. They are a set of large beads tied in a circle on cord, with space for the beads to move up and down. They play with these beaded loops in their hands, swinging them around a bit so they tap on one side of their hand and then the other, or pass the beads between their fingers, just appreciating the tactileness of them ..,,,,,, I reckon they should be introduced to all cultures, personally. Think I am going to start wearing an elasticated bead bracelet to play with in exactly this way. Sound good to you too ??

My mother used to restring her necklaces in fishing line so they wouldn't break, and give them to the family babies to play with when we were out and about. Kept them entertained for ages - and she wasn't even Greek 😆

That's sounds exactly what I need @Faith-and-Hope. Cool story, thanks for sharing. Perhaps I should look for something for my sons too. They are terrible fidgeters and break things all the time but not from anxiety. Especially the one who is studying to be an engineer. He's found his calling - a full time fidgeter and will get paid for it😊

I'm ok @Snuchu. Thanks for the drink. How are you going?

Re: The Beer Garden

@Former-Member, great mood-wise, but struggling sleep-wise. I slept for 45 minutes and woke up like I slept 10 hours. Jeez.

Re: The Beer Garden

It's ok @Snuchu. Easier said than done but just try not to stress about it. Eventually it will all catch up with you. It has with me. I think I had about 10 hours in broken patches last night after a week of very little sleep. I don't feel great for it yet but just know my body with be glad I've had some sleep. 😊💜
