If you've put ratsak down @utopia keep a close eye on the dogs in case they've eaten a slow or dead mouse/rat. Secondary poisoning can happen.

@Kurra. Yes I'm very careful with this toxic poison. My ratter dog is okay. He doesn't go near dead ones. But I'm keeping a close eye on my Labrador when she's outside. As she loves 'playing' with other animals. I could her 'playing' with a large beetle earlier this week. She got so upset when it stopped 'playing' with her. By then she'd played it to death.
I check around the outside of the house and yard when I use this poison. And dispose of any animal.

I lost a wayward Tomcat to neighbors ratsak years ago @Kurra. Well he was old and angry and his one eye from near birth didn't help him try and win battles with neighborhood cats. He was nursed back to life a couple of times at one house then thought took him back to somewhere familiar and safe and that happened. Well he was old anyway poor bugger

@TAB. It's an awful poison ratsak. You need to be so careful with it. So sorry to hear about this old Tom cat.
How are you? We haven't caught up for a while? Did you get to the doctors and the dentist?

Well that was 25years ago re cat 🐱 @utopia but no not a good way to go. Am ok well comparitively dr was underwhelming so much so forgot to ask re counselling. Dentist Monday. Have been on straight and narrow largely last 10 days. Signs of upcoming work, if sporadic well beats nothing. Have yet another drug test tomorrow and finish off medical that was begun weeks ago. Had ear infection and then audiologist decided to go on holidays. Getting there. .Glacially..😸..

@TAB. It's hard when you have so much to ask your doctor. I have a ten minute appointment next Friday. It takes her that long to fill out my workcover forms. Then I have to disguss my menopause symptoms and get a blood test & have her check a lump in my mouth. And I need new scripts. And because I'm working - I have to take time off to see her. It's hard to fit it all in. But when the doctor looks rushed or irritated or doesn't seem approachable - that's tough. You might like to write a list for your next visit.
Of course the audiologist went on holiday. Lol. You can't write a better movie/comedy script
