The Beer Garden

The Beer Garden

i encourage you all to join me for some casual drinking, social lubrication and light laughter right here in the beer garden.

Oh and before anyone gets up in arms about alcohol and its dangers the main beer on tap is VB or virtual beer

beer is the third most commonly consumed drink in the world behind water and tea

why not share the worlds joy with friends

Re: The Beer Garden

You could be describing my marriage @Former-Member including the cop shop . Only difference is that I'm back with him after a 12 year break. Mind you we do have a part-time relationship now. And I ignore any controlling behaviour. I know who I am now, whst I'll accept and what I won't. 😃🎶💕

Re: The Beer Garden

Hello everyone,

Hi @oceangirl

Hi @Former-Member, thank you, of course it is more complicated than that, but I agree with you, a beautiful person is a beautiful person, however they look, and I don't think I'm ugly anyway, but it's hard not to believe and hurt my confidence given everything, I try. Thank you very much for your kind words! You're a nice person too :).

I do have interests and hobbies, music, guitar, writing, records, gardening, growing plants, bush walking, playing with my dog, girls (if I can say that), but yes my mood has been unmotivated unfortunately.

Thank you for your encouragement and making me feel welcome :).

Hi @Faith and Hope, I'll try to strive towards my goals, even if I'm repeatedly told they're not allowed to be my goals.

I agree with what you've said and I will try to hold onto it. I wish I had the mood now to reciprocate the effort you've made with your kind words to me. I hope I can but it is a little hard for me to find people.

And Hi @Former-Member, Wow!, and I hope you will be you too, you're great :), and I don't know how you knew those words to say, or how much they mean to me. I wish I could express, hopefully I'll have a better mood later to write more, but thank you!

Maybe you people can be my new big sisters :). I just hope that I can be here for you too.

I am sorry for my late replies, I was touched by all your nice words and I wanted to express that better, but I haven't had the mood, although I've been anxious about not replying too.

After seeing my new psychiatrist I feel a little misunderstood, since he thinks I simply suffer depression and anxiety, but I know myself, I know the life I've had, I know I have personality disorder traits which have made life torture for most of my life, and that causing anxiety and the frustration of people not understanding has caused the depression. So I'm feeling a bit frustrated again.

Thank you again to everyone for your understanding and kindness, you are beautiful people.

Re: The Beer Garden

Hi @Faith-and-Hope,
Hmm no but there was a fussiness with food, still is. My ex partner had NPD.
His mother's psychologist met both of them for a few sessions a few years back.
It was his mum who told me, what was told to her.
His mum doesn't help though, she has tried but she also enables him.
I know he actually belongs on a ward for a while.
But he won't, never will.
He was a difficult child.
I reckon I know that man inside out, I'd traveled every path to help him.
You can't help those, that will not help themselves and eventually try and destroy you.

@Kurra I read your post and thought hmm, wow..Yes I do know. In my case it became worry for my son's, that I left.

Re: The Beer Garden

@lost boy, yes I recall. Of course! And definitely trust your instincts. I probably have fallen into same category as you, but I know it's not all...it's more.
Awesome work going to psychologist 💪🙌✋..high fives bro!
Keep working with it. try and be as honest as you can. Not always easy to explore our inner facets, to trust and let go..somethings we hold onto for grim death. I don't know why.
Your doing ace...one day at a time for sures 😊
