The Beer Garden

The Beer Garden

i encourage you all to join me for some casual drinking, social lubrication and light laughter right here in the beer garden.

Oh and before anyone gets up in arms about alcohol and its dangers the main beer on tap is VB or virtual beer

beer is the third most commonly consumed drink in the world behind water and tea

why not share the worlds joy with friends

Re: The Beer Garden

OMG .. @Former-Member not sure how you watch that dark stuff, I watched the Crow think well friend put it on years ago ..bit too much for me when things just seem to get that little bit too far down the dark path .. oh well .. er .. yeah .. good to be in bed and not wake 4 hrs later or seem like half awake at least, even if felt better for having done it ..hmm yeh .. Leia in Chains ..or was that Alice .. ..lol

Re: The Beer Garden

It was a dark movie for sure, but think as much as it disturbs me, I become enthralled! I think I had to see out his (Leonardo de caprio's) will to survive!
It sure was 'an eye for an eye' sort of movie!
Ha,ha Alice in chains...let's hope I don't walk out of there looking like him!!

Re: The Beer Garden

@Former-Member, sorry u not trekking well. I found this great detox tea in woollies, I think it's organic too. I recommend. It's a green tea base but with good things in like dandelion, milk thistle, fennel etc...
I reckon it's helped me heaps...
@Faith-and-Hope u might like it too!
Oh and I will find link to the beetroot muffins & cheesecake.
I think my slight alteration on cheesecake not a winner, my boys don't like it!! Ha,ha all the more for me 😁...

Re: The Beer Garden

Hmm agree on Leo..wasn't a fan. But liked him in movie last night and yep think I've seen the other.
Ha,lucky I look nothing like Alice Cooper! I'll Google other band!
Grr just got msg my boys dad. He still proceeds to not think of boys and looks only for revenge. It's been years since we parted.
I used to wonder why. But some people don't change!

Re: The Beer Garden

they were big in 90s re Alice in Chains .. half the band dead now lol @Former-Member yes they were very dark too .. The Rooster, Dam That River etc ..and yeah, some people, usually guys, bit hopeless at getting over things .. well kids is a connection ..can be complicated when not together .. I remember catching suburban train from central train station in Adelaide on a weekend forever ago .. exes and kids everywhere doing kid swap from one line to another ..

Re: The Beer Garden

Lol funny on band front!! Not surprised!
Yeh, I should have known in my case. He had hang ups about previous ex's...but held them in light as trophies too. My dad once said to me he's a collector!
Should have realized.
No.matter. I've two beautiful boys as a result.
And no trains for us. It's cop shop.
Tried all the rest. Not one to go away without making life hell.
Ya, live & learn.
I think I had to be the one to pull him up, show him a few life lessons.
He resents that. Tells my boys inappropriate things, lies to them. It's sad.
Because it hurts them. I'm well over it all. Nothing surprises me anymore.
Been too fat down a track!
But like I say, some never change.

Re: The Beer Garden

Lol...Yeh I don't view it as hard anymore.
It's not where I thought I'd go perhaps, but yes I put up with a very controlling man.
You loose yourself in doing it.
And what's more, I was always one to fight for myself. But that's what those kind of relationships are about 'wearing you done'..done very subtly, slowly overtime.
It took me years to re programme. Very humiliating.
But I'm.here today 😊 ..all good. Live to.tell a tale! He,he...right washing out...wake little man, got go be chained to a chair! 😂...
Have a great day...see u flip side! @TAB
