The Beer Garden

The Beer Garden

i encourage you all to join me for some casual drinking, social lubrication and light laughter right here in the beer garden.

Oh and before anyone gets up in arms about alcohol and its dangers the main beer on tap is VB or virtual beer

beer is the third most commonly consumed drink in the world behind water and tea

why not share the worlds joy with friends

Re: The Beer Garden

And yes @Jacques it would be easier in the city. It seems so difficult in the country. Even in the city it's daunting. This last time I was searching I got some names of people that someone I trusted recommended and they were all booked up or cost too much and still had wait lists. I do admit I was lucky.

Re: The Beer Garden

the closest regional center is 1 hour away @Kurra and a major capital city is 6 hours away, so very rural.

Re: The Beer Garden

The reason I'm asking is that you can arrange to speak with a psychiatrist and psychologist on Skype. You might this helpful.

Take care @Jacques. Sleep is calling for me I'll be in touch later today. Hugzzz 💕

The model ship is amazing @Jacques - well done !!

Here are some resources that mite help

https://moodgym.anu.edu.au/welcome

http://www.mindhealthconnect.org.au/emental-health-strategy

I know its tough to find suitable help when living in rural areas that is for sure unless you have someone there that is really good. Are you able to go talk to your GP or travel into town and get help there? I'm not sure what avenue you want to take atm - but I would think about what is best for you and how you can take care of yourself. You maybe able to get a health plan and see a psychologist via skype and psychaitrist too.

@Former-Member @Faith-and-Hope Goodnight girls

Re: The Beer Garden

yes @Former-Member, i am a member of moodgym and mind health connect. i was offered to skype by my doctor before he retired, but i refused, because i was so disalussioned about the previous treaments.

i don't know, a doctor mentioned something about going to the main town, but i freaked out and told her i would think about it and never went back. i am so scared. i don't know why

Re: The Beer Garden

I can understand why you are fearful and scared about reaching out for help, that I totally get. I guess what I am trying to say you are not alone in experiencing poor care from a health professional. I think what will help is you trying to find someone else and building positive experiences that way you will overcome this negative experience and even build confidence around your previous negative experience it can be done. I hope this makes sense @Jacques But only get help if that is what you want!!

I think you need to take back some of that control and that way you will hopefully feel less scared and more in control of your situation. In the meantime just take some baby steps each day and see if this helps.
